- Andre De Grasse learned a lot about himself when writing his new book 'Ignite'; which tells stories of his life and learnings as the 'accidental sprinter'. But he cannot run forever, and the 2-time Olympian has some big ideas for what he hopes to do once he hangs up his spikes.

He had a difficult start to the season and like a true Canadian, Andre beavered away and sparkled in the end!!!
De Grasse is a great role model and a great person.
I think he has done great for himself. I always argue with my Dad who says a lot, "He is just another Canadian they send to the events to fill the lanes for the real athletes." Shoot getting to the finals is a huge accomplishment and winning medals is an achievement of epic proportions. Some have been gold. The grind he goes through when he is winning is unbearable, just imagine the grind when he is not and he deals with the pressure with a smile for us fans.
Stay healthy AD. Podium bound let’s go.
