Dude let me just say the intro alone got my sub! Great work! As a Tampa local I can tell you this place is amazing, but honestly FL has some great fishing all along the coast honestly. I fish out of a gheenoe all over and love it. Look forward to more videos!
@@SALTxTHExWOUND thanks man! I’ve fished a ton of Florida, I’ve lived all around the state and every time I leave the state I miss the fishing here. Also… I MAY have just picked up an LT25

@@DavyHookedUp thanks brotha! Man it’s hard not to compete at least a little out there. I was thinking the same but I gotta get over east. That’s where the big big fish live.

I don’t fish for trout very much brotha but I saw on another vid a dude was doing pretty decent in desoto flats on trout. They’re usually pretty thick through there. As far as tips, just work the mangroves or sand holes in the flats. Desoto holds some really good fish but they can be super picky at times.
I fish this area a lot and I have no boat or kayak. I only fish from shore, I can always find fish. It’s all timing and location. Certain fish are available at only certain times of the year. It all depends on time of day, water temp, tides, what spot you are fishing and of course bait or lures. Once you put all these factors together and get it right, you catch a ton of fish from shore. Keep a journal and write down the conditions, water temps, tides, and times when you do catch a lot of fish, it helps seeing patterns. Also subscribe to local fishing TH-cam channels, learn what they are doing to catch fish.
@@richfishing92 hahahaha. Same here brother it never ends. I have some casts where I feel like “damn, I know what I’m doing” and then I bomb a cast 20 yards into the mangroves right after.

Your production is INSANE 🔥
I don’t even want to make content anymore because you set the bar too high….

What are you getting the red and snook on at 7:00 is that a shrimp?
It’s the MirrOlure Lil John Twitch Bait.

@ lol. I’ve used vudu in the past, I think the best shrimpy anything is gulp but dude I can’t stand how that shit smells lol.

@ I was the same way starting out, it’s pretty much all I use but I still need a day where I go soak shrimp in the mangroves and sit on ass 🤣🤣

tampa fishing sucks when you have no boat*
I used to think so man, but you can do a lot on a kayak and if you know where to go the shore fishing is great.
