The lessons are really awesome.. in this video you have showed , if the direct speech is in present, don't change the tense when changed to indirect. But finally in the slide u have mentioned that present to imparfait... little confused ma'am.. can you pls explain

When she says present to imperfect it means that the sentence that is being said changes verb tenses. At the start she was talking about the tense of the declarative verb.
