The best thing about electronic Bach is that the listener can really hear the notes and the separation amongst them. Thanks for your contribution!
Thank you for your concise comment! Yes, I agree, the synth really helps with getting a clear and even tone and works so well for this polyphonic complex and beautiful music 🎶 🎹✨
Reminiscent of "Switched On Bach", the album.
Indeed, it is a tribute to Wendy Carlos 👸 ⚡️ 🎹
The independent autonomy of both hands like this is amazing.
The magic of Bach and polyphonic music 🎶 🎹✨
Study Bach. Your hands will move independently.
That was the most awesome thing I ever seen synths
Alright! Thank you so much, glad it was inspiring to you 😇
Bach's music goes well with any instrument and sound.
Well played!
Thank you so much! Yes, Bach’s music transcends time, genre and instruments and has a deeply moving quality for me. So glad you like this video, more to come!
Dude that I love that electric crunch in the bass…….. I like to imagine myself rocking out on one of those, with giant speakers-full blast.
Yes! Rock out man 🤟
Carlos will be proud of your work.
Thank you Santos, that is a compliment of the highest degree 🙏
Beautiful sounding instruments
Yes, these are very iconic and versatile analog synths, I love how they sound 🥇
Excellent hand control
🤲🙌🙏👐
My other favorite invention. The 19th measure gives me chills every time... totally otherworldly!
Mmm yes... deliciously bittersweet 🤤
Same here.
Fantastic! You really nailed the Wendy Carlos sound design, very understated and tasteful.
Thanks man, Switched on Bach is indeed a very artful and inspiring album. I read that Glenn Gould said how Carlos’ rendition of the Brandenburg is the best he’s heard, live or recorded!
@@DorHeledMusic Yes, he said about Brandenburg 4. I believe he said it was the best performance live, canned, or intuited-typical Glenn.
Came back here after 5 months, true gold
Thanks Patrick! I appreciate your support 🙏
with those synths, sounds straight out of portal 2 =)
🔥🤘
Wendy Carlos is great. Thanks for this beautiful tribute.
Indeed, she is! I’m glad you like my version, always happy to hear from Carlos fans like myself 🤓
I think Bach maybe would like it!
I hope so Rodrigo! 🙏
Right right!

2 beautifull synths
I feel the same way 😍
Outstanding. Excellent performance and great sounding presets.
Thank you very much 🙏 I appreciate your kind and supportive feedback, hope you subscribe for more electro-Bach ⚡️
Pffff!!!! Espectacular!!! Te felicito!!
muchas gracias 🙏
Absolutely knockout! That was brilliant! Very well played! Tempo, articulation and synth voicing was superb - Bach for the 21st Century on instruments born tomorrow (so to speak!) - very well done again!
Thank you Jonathan! That is very encouraging, I’ll cherish your positive and scholarly reply ❤️✨🎹😇🎶
This is glorious and fantastic! Real horror show, Viddy well my brothers, viddy well. 🎵🎶
Thank you! I take it horror show is a good thing? 😅
@@DorHeledMusic I'm surprised you didn't get the reference. Check out Clockwork Orange -directed by Stanley Kubrick with synth music by Wendy Carlos
It has some incredible synth music and classical music in it. Bit of a strange flik otherwise though 😂
This is so lovely. It's just perfect. I hope Wendy Carlos has seen this! Bravo.
Thank you! If she did, I would be tremendously honored 😇
@j s Wendy Carlos is transgender, in case you don't know.
@j s
I thought that internet trolls were extinct? Especially such narrow-minded ones like you.
@j s Lol you are embarrassing yourself !!
@@js-wl3wi Actually he went through the surgeries and treatments so I'll give her the courtesy.
Awesome liked and subbed
Thank you 🙏 much appreciated
Finally, the way Bach intended :')
Heh thank you, I hope so 😅
yeah!
Funky Bach 😎
That was F'ing HOT🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤You did Bach justice 😮😉
Thanks John, I guess that’s what it’s all about! 🎶😇🙏
DIG IT!
Yessir! Much appreciated 🎶🤓
Excellent timing sir!
Thank you! Time is very important to me, especially in Bach’s music ⏰
This feels, funnily enough, a lot like the soundtrack from Clockwork orange, which also features a lot of synthesized classical music rendtions.
Yes, it too is by Wendy Carlos!
@@DorHeledMusic Oooooh right! That's true. Now that you mention it, it does ring a bell! Either way it's an interesting sound to bring to the classical pieces.
@MrAlfredDM I agree, modern and traditional at the same time 🤯
Great "registration"!
🤓
Bravo!
Cheers ✌️
beautifully played
Thank you! 🙏🎶🎹
lovely performance!
Thank you, I appreciate your support! 🎶🎶🎶
This was wonderful. 👍
Thanks man! Checking out your channel, looks very cool 😎
DOPE ! ! ! !
Thanks buddy 🤟
This is amazing.
Thanks Brad, that means a lot to me 🙏
I'm working on monophonic compositions for guitar. Very difficult illusion to pull off.
Would love to hear it when it’s done!
Well done!
Cheers! ✌️
Nice sounds and great performance.
Thanks Rob, stay tuned for more 🤓
Great job subbed and liked
Thank you my friend! 🙏
I guess Bach would be such a synth nerd if he lived these days :D
For sure 😎
Brilliant interpretation! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Alain! Cheers 🙌
@@DorHeledMusic
You're welcome. You made it seem effortless, I wish I could play this as easily as you did. BTW, even Wendy didn't play this live in one take on Switched On Bach, she used multi-track recording, but mainly because her custom-made Moog modular system 55 wouldn't stay in tune long enough... 😆
Yes, Switched on Bach makes full use of the orchestral possibilities of Bach’s music on the synthesizer, even in 2 part inventions! She often doubled and extended the arrangement of Bach’s solo keyboard score, something that can’t be done in a live solo recording such as this. So glad to hear from a fellow Carlos fan, thank you for supporting my humble tribute 🙏✨🎶
Nice!
Thanks, appreciate it 🤓
Thanks, I appreciate your feedback 🤓
MORE!
Haha Yes! Thanks , I’m working on it... either the B minor or the C major will be next, but I would like to do all the 2 part inventions. Any requests? 🤓
🤩
🙌
Cool!
Yesss ✌️
A Clockwork Orange vibes...
This time with Bach tho
Yes, inspired by Wendy Carlos! 🎶
If someone told me this was in a 'Yes' album I would believe them
Rock’n’roll babyyyy! 😎🤟
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! ✌️🙏🤓
Somehow it's sounds such antique and modern at the same time 😁
That’s beautiful! Like a bridge 🎶 🌉
@@DorHeledMusic Yeah, just like when you build a bridge with modern materials, but using medieval plans 😃 Outcome is truly a graceful thing
Thanks again, you are very kind 🤓
Amazing two hand movement ?
Yes! Thank you 🙏
Commodore 64's commercial never sounded better!
🤖 👍
Bach, Inventions for a Moog. 😁
Yeah, if only we could hear Bach himself playing on a Moog!
Do you use any effects pedals or post-processing for these Switched-On videos, or are they just straight from the synthesizers?
This is just synths with a touch of reverb, so very minimal processing
NIce to see a synth version of Bach actually played by a human on youtube...you need to do more.
I now see that you have done more...excellent...
Heh yes, thank you 🙏 always happy to hear from people who still appreciate live recordings. Stay tuned, more videos are in the works 🎹✨🎶
dont waste good synths on old sh*t like bach
🧐
