What I learnt from this video and I can relate to my personal life:
I play football in Poland, in some matches I am playing really bad because I just want to score and I just want my team mates to think good of me. That should not be any of my business. Instead, I should focus on what I have to do in that moment. I should be fully immersed in the match, take risks, think big and never set any limitations on me.
I need to be fully present in the moment like a kid is when he goes to a waterpark. Fully devoted to the moment!
    Thanks Sadhguru ❤️

That;s not what Krishna is saying at all! -this bearded phony has no idea what Krishna is saying - he admits up front he never read the Gita - yet he goes on to pontificate like he knows what Krishna has said. This guy is a cheater, plain and simple, but unfortunately people who want to be cheated, listen to such a fellow.

I am currently reading Srimad Bhagvad Gita. I have completed 7 Adhyays till now. When I read the verse when Sri Krishna said don't get attached to the fruitive results of your work. The same doubts arrived in my mind that how can one work without thinking of results? But now after see this video. I understood that you have to work with devotion and not with getting attached with the results. Hare Krishna 🙏🏻🕉

Although I adore Sadhguru, I would like for us to do some fact checks at least occasionally. It is not factually correct that the world heard about Krishna's teachings in Bhagavad gita through a servant's son. That was just the narrative. The Bhagavad Gita the world knows is through what was written by Sage Vyasa, an enlightened soul. Saying "I have not read any scriptures including the Bhagavad Gita" and then also saying things like "What Krishna actually meant was...." feels a bit self contradictory. No offense meant, Guru Ji.

Sadhguru is smart and intelligent.. He is saying that he has not read the Geeta.. He does not say he Doesn't know about Geeta..
Also Sanjaya was having Divya Chakshu.. Note...
The way Sadhguru is explaining Geeta and the mystic inferno, hardly anyone in Bharat explains things the way he does..
He serves mainly in Tamilnadu which has a Non Sanatani Government..
So my point is he is not wrong.. he is just deeply politically correct...

      कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।
      मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥ ४७ ॥
      karmaṇy evādhikāras te
      mā phaleṣu kadācana
      mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr
      mā te saṅgo ’stv akarmaṇi
      Synonyms
karmaṇi - in prescribed duties; eva - certainly; adhikāraḥ - right; te - of you; mā - never; phaleṣu - in the fruits; kadācana - at any time; mā - never; karma-phala - in the result of the work; hetuḥ - cause; bhūḥ - become; mā - never; te - of you; saṅgaḥ - attachment; astu - there should be; akarmaṇi - in not doing prescribed duties.
      Translation
You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.
      Purport
There are three considerations here: prescribed duties, capricious work, and inaction. Prescribed duties are activities enjoined in terms of one’s acquired modes of material nature. Capricious work means actions without the sanction of authority, and inaction means not performing one’s prescribed duties. The Lord advised that Arjuna not be inactive, but that he perform his prescribed duty without being attached to the result. One who is attached to the result of his work is also the cause of the action. Thus he is the enjoyer or sufferer of the result of such actions.
As far as prescribed duties are concerned, they can be fitted into three subdivisions, namely routine work, emergency work and desired activities. Routine work performed as an obligation in terms of the scriptural injunctions, without desire for results, is action in the mode of goodness. Work with results becomes the cause of bondage; therefore such work is not auspicious. Everyone has his proprietary right in regard to prescribed duties, but should act without attachment to the result; such disinterested obligatory duties doubtlessly lead one to the path of liberation.
Arjuna was therefore advised by the Lord to fight as a matter of duty without attachment to the result. His nonparticipation in the battle is another side of attachment. Such attachment never leads one to the path of salvation. Any attachment, positive or negative, is cause for bondage. Inaction is sinful. Therefore, fighting as a matter of duty was the only auspicious path of salvation for Arjuna.

The same is explained with the battle field example where u cannit take chance when u in action, u have to be the best or u would be dead😊

Sadhu Guru is confusing. Krishna’s point was to practice karma yoga as one path toward liberation and end of suffering. Karma yoga means selfless work. Ego less work. If you focus on the results only for your gain, then you will only create more bondage and attachment to the world. You will just energize your ego which will lead to more suffering. If karma yoga is too hard, then try other parhs like Bhakti yoga, Jnana Yoga, or Raja Yoga. Whichever suits your temperament.

    My learnings:
🌟 If I have one eye on the goal, then I only have one eye to find my way.
    *That's is inefficient*
🌟 In a battle field, if I am inefficient I will only get *death*
🌟 Only if I am committed to the process, I can do something *significant*
I learnt that in the battle field called *LIFE*, I need to be committed to the process. The result will come as a consequence, I shouldn't be focused on it. His masterplan will never go wrong, knowing the result may *freak me* as quoted by Sadhguru.
I should have faith and continue to being committed to the process.

Bhagavad gita says do ur actions or duties, without getting attached to results ,be it success or failure. That way u ll neither be egoistic nor will u be let down .
Example, a batsman needs 18 runs from an over. If he starts thinking of results from ball 1, he will wildly swing his bat & probably get out. Rather he must think of his game-plan ball by ball without bothering about the results. That way he gives his best

What Lord Krishna has to say about not being attached to results was to tell you that do what is in your control and that will lead to योग: कर्मसु कौशलम् || means performing our natural duty (Svakarma) selflessly, fearlessly for the welfare of all beings in the Light ( Wisdom and Vision Divine) of “Samatva-Yoga" indeed is perfection/excellence in KarmaYoga .
