I’m thinking about buying this same one but with aluminum Avanti to keep the price lower. I hope it will not hurt my feet. I remember I have a Bont speed skate back in the days and those hurt my feet and I could not skate long in them.

My feet are slightly wide, and these are a medium width. If you have wide feet, I would suggest getting the wide version. You should be fine with the aluminum Avanti plate, they will just be a bit heavier. I am in love with mine, and these are by far my favorite skates. If you decide to get them, let me know how you like them. :) Happy and safe skating!

I ordered the 220 skates from my local rink pro shop for $600 as well but with Fuse Reactor nylon plates. I know it’s a bit cheaper online but I just want to support the local shop. My size was 8 1/2 according to Riedell measurement but I was like that way too small so I ordered size 9, which is more of my street shoe size. I’m glad I did that. It fits well and not too tight. I also tried the Riedell 110 skate they have in stock, but man it is very tight and it hurt my toes and they were not handmade leather boots but only for half the price. I’m glad I ordered the 220 boots.
