Sometimes, like tonight, I wake up in the middle of the night and begin to think about something, can't go back to sleep, so I come to my computer and do a "little" something, then go back to bed. Why are Chinese sellers refusing to ship by China Post AIR with tracked delivery? I find that 95% of sellers will not ship by China Post Air which takes only 1-2 weeks to arrive from the date they ship the order. Instead they used incredibly expensive broker shipping companies. When they use DHL / Fedex and other ripoff companies the cost of the order quadruples and are actually not cheaper at all than buying locally. For example, if I order 500 pieces of something and China Air shipping costs are $50 for the order, the exact same shipping with Fedex will cost maybe $300. In addition to this, when the items arrive into the country these brokerage companies can charge up to 60% in import fees (which is actually not legal unless you give pre-consent, but they do it anyways because people are not aware of this). So why do the Chinese not want to ship with China Air?
