A search in a specific folder or all would be awesome.

I found a solution to this....
Experiment: go to your PC...Engine OS...
From your Ext. Hard Drive or USB
.Open the folder with tracks that you want...now go to Collections in Engine Prim...create a crate..
for ex:70s...
You should still have your track list on the right....
Highlight all by using
CNTRL A....now drag and drop them all to the new Collections crate on the left you created...(# of tracks in Red Circle.)
BOOM! IN YOUR COLLECTION LIST..
NEXT: INSERT your ext drive or USB to your prime controller...tracks ADDED should be in collections CRATE and now ALL TRACKS should be in search LIST as well.
Repeat this and now you can search ALL or Crate Folder...
You can create a Seperate folder on your drive...and just copy ALL your folders/tracks into one single folder...ALL...Search..BOOYA..
Moving tracks from external hard drive to Engine OS software's Collection Crate is the Answer.

For us Rekordbox people, the related tracks window is actually pretty good at doing this legwork for you as well. It has its own settings menu which is pretty comprehensive.
Related tracks is a great tool!
You have to be careful mixing songs by key. Just like loops, your mix can become extremely monotonous if you stay in 1 key for too long. For most, I'd suggest ignoring the key and referencing similar BPM's instead.

Can you organize by bpm when streaming a Tidal playlist?
Just got my Prime 4 and Wow it's amazing I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can make a playlist but can't find any info on creating Crate function for my selection of tracks for a session does anyone know why I can't find Crate in the library
I have a 1Tb SSD built into the prime 4 is there something I'm not doing

Related track by mood & vibe compatible to the master playing track. This feature needs to be added to all Denon Players asap. Also smart crates:)

Ne completely different question I have and would be very happy if you could help me there: would you recommend 2 x JBL Partybox 1000 in combination with Prime 4 or SC6000 as a PA system? because they are easier to transport thought me get them to me but unfortunately do not know me technically with it . So it's no way to have this automated like related tracks in rekordbox? Am looking at a new controller and the idea of an all in one is appealing but the related tracks in rekordbox is extremely useful especially after the long year and a half break from djing due to pandemic, brain gets stuck very often. Not sure if this is available in the pioneer all in one systems but if am not mistaken the pioneer don't have hard drive bay which is a massive plus for me in the denon gear.
Only with USB sticks or external drives?
why does it takes so long to go in computer mode on the Denon prime 4 controller to work with Serato Dj pro, would anybody help me out with this issue; thank you.
Suggestion for video. Moving from serato to prime. I am about to do this, and I Video would be super helpful.

I would like to have seen the process to load the track to the deck and if there is more than one way to do it
You can either press the dedicated load buttons or swipe the track on screen and press which deck you wish to load to!
Unrelated question here but are you aware if the onboard effects work with external turntables? It would be nice to have a video with the Prime 4 hooked up to some external turntables as it is impossible to find anywhere else. Great video nonetheless.
Sadly not, only the filter works with external sources!

Unfortunately good hardware isn't cheap, however the Prime GO is half that amount and still the same power!
