oh my god it is so nice to see a plus sized crocheter. it’s nothing against people who are smaller and do it but it makes me feel like i am the only plus sized crocheter and i love seeing plus sized people absolutely rocking the stuff they make! lots of love ❤❤

me too! I think there are a lot of plus size crocheters but not a lot who make content, it can be hard when the space is SO dominated by thin people to feel like there's a place for us but there definitely is
I love seeing this as well! As a plus size crocheted myself, I get so discouraged making things for myself but watching vids like this encourages me to make more things that I could wear!

Welcome to crochet i actually made a Harry' styles sweater for my dog. You're doing beautiful work.
I think when I've got the time I'll look at making a graph soot sprite sweater. Like it might be a beige or mint green colour with random soot sprites and star candies everywhere.
It's going to be horrendous with all the colour changes and ends to weave but I need it.
Or maybe even having a bunch of soot sprites on the bottom, as if they're climbing up.
Hi everyone ☺️ 👋🏼 I am new to all things crochet (Tunisian and traditional), and I'm really pleased to find an English creator. I love our American cousins, and I learned crochet using US terminologies, but the materials they use are often things we can't get over here 👎🏽 Booo! Anyway, I've started a temperature blanket with the mindset that I will try not to be too hard on myself if I lose interest. I want to enjoy what I'm doing, as it really helps my mental health and counting unnecessarily, so I don't want to stress myself out by having strict rules. this is a very amazing channel, can't belive you only have 1k! i wish you luck in this community! ^^
your makes are so cute, colourful, and artfully made! i know this is probably a hot take in the crochet community but i hate hate HATE double crochet! i don't like the fabric it produces the majority of the time, and because it's a quicker stitch it's often done rather... lazily? i already find it to be one of the ugliest crochet stitches around (shoutout to the triple crochet tho, that one takes the cake!) so to see these sad, hole-y double crochet projects makes my bitch-eating-crackers levels spike!
with that being said... you fall into that seemingly rare category of crocheters who understand the pitfalls of working with double crochet, which is so refreshing to see. your projects make me *appreciate* this horrible stitch, and that's saying something! your pieces look neat and polished, and that just pleases my perfectionists eye. you did a great job and i hope you're very proud of your work!! i hope 2023 brings you many more fun and lovely projects. :)
*i'm a crocheter in north america, so when i use "double crochet" i'm referring to US terms btw!
