Thanks for the update. I think your Meijer lemon tree has root stock on the bottom, that might need to be cut off for the tree to grow better. If it is grafted It will the bottom growth will take all the energy from your Meijer lemon tree.

It has been doing so poorly I am considering pulling it and tossing it. Fast growing trees never responded to me on if it was a graft or not. It seemed like a cutting not a graft when it came in, and didn’t have many roots.

Doubt I will order from them again. I will just get what I can from local nurseries.

@@JonFTC I bought some healthy citrus trees from Brite Leaf citrus nursery, I got a beautiful cutting for $15.00. It has grown really big in a month. They have grafted and some cuttings. If you have questions for them, they answer really quick and they accept calls too. I live in zone 6 Michigan and I have trouble with spider mites. Good luck with your trees. I enjoy your videos.

@@JonFTC Fast Growing trees are too expensive for me. Brite Leaf Citrus Nursery has three prices, dwarf trees start at $25.00 to $35.00, and the cuttings are all $15.00. And if you see a tree out of stock they will help you there too.

@@Annette-tq2rl good to know! I removed the citrus trifoliate growing from the improved meyer lemon root stock and will see if it starts doing better at the graft and above.

This one i ordered from fast growing tree's and it came in bad shape, it's starting to grow some but I am considering tossing it and buying a new one from a nursery local to me that already has good growth.

Yeah always remove the trifoliate rootstock suckers they will suck all the life out of the scion. Thats why your meyer lemon isnt doing too well

it is doing better after removing the rootstock suckers, and finally growing more vegetation slowly above the root stock. :) going to be a year or two before it's very productive though so might get an extra one that's bigger from local nursery.

@@JonFTC Check out four winds growers they are way better than fast growing trees
