So excited to have a planty lady in the UK. I live in Brighton and most of the channels I subscribe to are in the USA or Canada. Looking forward to more videos and you look gorgeous with your hair wet... this channel is about plants not like the other shallow youtubers who worry way too much about how they look. Natural beauty wins every time!
I'm so glad I found your channel. My mom's house has hundreds and hundreds of plants, mostly just ignored (sad, overgrown, a lot of roots) and I don't know a thing about caring for them. I have like 90% of the plants in your channel.
It's nice to see how much you guys love making your house green like a jungle...hello...we come from Malaysia it's a equatorial country so we are a country with jungle as green as the amazon....
I love the esthetic of your films. They are made so professional. I am just really shocked that you have only 19k subscribers. I wish you luck on your journey to 1MLN!💜
Hello! It's so nice to see a UK based plant channel! Subscribed! I'm a newbie plant junkie and would love to see more advice vids. And also top 10s. And plant mail. Maybe some diy pots (those things get expensive) I like all things plant related tbh lol. Fingers crossed I win me some new plants!
Hello I started watching your videos I love how do you explain things and I love all your plants. I have a fiddle leaf plant and I going to repot it, I got it from a nursery place a few months ago and I want to give her a good house, your plants are amazing that’s why I would like to ask you what kind of soil mix do you recommend for fiddle leaf and if you have an specific soil potting for use ? I asked because there are a lot of different types and brands that I’m scared to add one that is not going to be good for my plant, I don’t want my fiddle leaf to die. Thank you very much
loved this video!! For someone who has found a love of plants in lockdown I need all the extra tips I can get to make sure my plants are happy and healthy 🪴 can’t wait to see more!!
Love this video 💚🌿 a couple months back I bought a fiddle leaf and "Ragnor" seems to be doing well and loving his new environment. Amazing tip on the water after boiling potatoes/pasta... I will be implementing this straight away!
@@TheJungleHaven I spoke too soon 😭.. Ragnor is now in isolation he has been hosed down and now having a neem oil treatment. Ive spotted the early signs of spider mites on him. Let's hope he doesn't throw a hissy fit and drop loads of leaves.
I have two and they are doing well. Recently though I repotted them in pots a couple inches wider but, also a few inches deeper. I gave them a good watering and have monitored their need for water with a meter. It has taken a month for the meter to register that they are ready to be watered. I was a bit worried so, I aerated the soil with a chopstick trying to help them dry faster over the last couple weeks. My question is, should I take them out of the pots and give them a chunkier mix now, before I water, even though they see to be happy. They live out on my screened in porch and get plenty of air and light. I do live in a southern humid climate. Thank you and I enjoy your videos and knowledge.
I got a bunch of plants for christmas and hoping to house some more! Very informative video and now interested in getting one of these gorgeous plants 🌱
Very informative video. I just bought one of these it's was on Clarence and thought why not see if I can make it happy again. It definitely needs some tlc. I have a how question, how far from window is yours in this video? I have a huge east window but was thinking of placing it about 7 ft away. Too far in your opinion???
Hiya and thank you! Hmmmm so depending on the size of the window that might be too far back - particularly if you're trying to rehab the plant and get it back to a healthy state. If it's a huge window that lets in lots of light then it might be ok so long as you rotate the plant regularly, but if it's on the smaller side it might still be producing what's considered to be medium-low light 💚
Hey Dylan, yes absolutely! It's a really great way to naturally fertilise the soil and gives your plants a little nutritional boost. I do it all the time for most of my plants 💚
Hey! I'm new to your channel and I'm hooked. Very informative videos, you're doing a great job educating plant lovers. I'd love to see a video about notching, although I think you'd have to risk having your fiddle leaf fig having a melt down. Keep up the good work!
I really wish to have this plant.. I did do thd same with my ficus teneki, I added water after buying it. It lost 3 leaves 😭..realised it soon. Its not been watered for well over a week now and its fine ..
Oh. The draft thing seems really off to me. Had all mine in the cold hallway all winter last year. They didnt really care about that, light or water. They just did them, i chopped them back again, and they are back to normal. (Except a branch that is literally pointed at the ground. No clue what that is about.)

Thanks for watching - I know it is... Grow lights are also a good shout at this time of year if your plant isn't getting enough light 💚
I finally found 🙌 a good spot and pot for Freddy the Fig..and he has spread his wingspan..I find him to be one of least needy 🪴 I own...
Great advice. Hoping Fergus (my fiddle leaf) will perk up a bit once I’ve made some changes 👍🏻

Will other plants appreciate pasta/veg water too? Thinking that’s a great way to reuse water Xx

I thought it was just my plants being dramatic, thanks for the advice 😂
Also, here’s my entry to replace the one that I can’t seem to revive! Whoops!

Great video! I have a very dramatic FLF, I think she's trying to break up with me but I just can't let her go 🥺😂

great tips!!!!
Really glad they were helpful 💚
Great advice and I would love to win these prizes!! 😊

Leaf drop isnt usually an issue. Its usually more "hey, im slightly upset right now" if youd have left it, it would have been fine.

Yay! 🌿
Thank you for all this advice, but I still think my skills are a long way away from owning a fiddle leaf yet 😅
Hehehe no worries - I think they're hyped up as horrendously sensitive but when you actually get to know them they're fairly chilled 🌿
Love it! Would love to win!
Good luck 😆🌱
Beautiful plant, shame I don’t have the right environment for one 😭
Such a shame! They do very well with grow lights too if you're house isn't very bright? 💚

DONE ! 😁 x

aweeee i’m not in the uk:(((((
Darn it, sorry! I'll definitely do a worldwide giveaway at some point too ☺️
Aww UK only 🙄
Oh nooo, sorry Dom! I'll do a worldwide one at some point soon 🌿
Honestly they really dont seem to care a whole lot about anything. Have 3 or 4, nowhere near as dramatic as ficus petoliaris. That freaks out period.
