Impressive !!! Now that is putting meat on the table. I’ve fished the concrete ships moons ago on a CHERRYSTONE CAMPGROUND trip. The memory’s are forever etched in my mind! !! What a awesome day you had here congratulations on that trip
That's definitely always in the back of my mind when I have fish on the stringer. I wouldn't do it anywhere south of North Carolina where aggressive sharks are more common. I learned that first hand in the Florida keys when I put a mangrove snapper on a stringer and within minutes had 5 black tip sharks following me around.
Sheepshead are slow growing fish, the larger ones I was releasing in this video would be 20-25 years old. I generally believe it's good for conservation to release the older, larger fish.
@@SlackTideKayakFishing Thank you - thats a good idea :) - i am not a fisher, tried once on some lake with my dad but could only catch a frog interested in that spicy bread-cake or a worm :)
How come you keep releasing all those fish and yet you’re staying fishing in the same place and that’s all you’re catching is sheepshead is there a size limit or is there a possession limit. Stay safe.

@@DiegoRamon-t3t I haven't used it for that but I think it would work well from kayak or boat. From shore I'd want something longer.
Those sheepy’s are fun, definitely take a toll on the hands when you get into them like that. Worth it though!
Nice. Yes existing abandon structures proves to have monster lurking. Especially ones that have deep holes.

Just liked and subbed.
