is it just me but it seems like a note of desperation has crept into the voices of investors at the mention of a rate cut. you can almost see em on their knees, hands clasped together saying... "please, please God give us a rate cut so the price of my property will take off again. I promise I will good and donate all my profits to those less fortunate than my self"

They should cut interest rate for normal (interest+principal) mortgages, and correspondingly double the interest rate of "interest-only" mortgages. (Both existing and new)

There is not necessarily a buyer when there is a seller, there are a number of ex rentals coming on the market

Everyone thinking they’ll cut as fast as they hiked it, but it’s just safer to cut, assess, hold, cut, and so forth.
