  • The biggest political issue right now - a Labor Senator ditching the party over Palestine - can seem a bit disconnected from your daily life.
But it matters, it goes to the heart of some big issues in this country - how we respond to diversity, to differing opinions, and whether all Australians can be heard in our political system.

Dutton''s head is , infested with Islamophobia, an incurable disease. What Dutton has to realize is that Christianity was not of their decent/origin, though it was IMPOSED on Europeans despite apparent incompatibility with their pop culture. All major religions originated in Middle East not in Europe, and they all co-existed long before Europeans( the culprit of ALL chaos we see today around us) messed it all up and created chaos. That is the fact Dutton is ignorant of. They took over the Christianity, distorted and made it appear as something of their own by putting cosmetics and decorations on it. Prove me wrong !

@@gauthapandith You miss the point completely m8, we need to worry about ourselves more & not other countries like Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, & in the past; Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea etc.
As long as we have Australian kids that are waking up on an empty stomach then going to school without eating, wearing worn out shoes that never fit in the first place & a shopping bag for a school backpack, we need to worry less about other countries & more about our own. As long as we have people that are homeless, struggling to afford a house & food, we need to worry less about other countries problems. As long as we have indigenous & outback communities that need help with the basics for life, we need to worry less about other countries issues. As long as we have emergency room wait times in multiple hours & people waiting months & months to get surgeries done, guess what? yeah we need to worry less about other countries & more about our own. As long as we have tragically broken men killing themselves due to the last wars we sent them to, then maybe we should hold off on actions that could lead us to sending more of those young men to be maimed, killed or come back with broken souls.
When we have basically fixed or severely reduced things like, poverty, homelessness, veteran issues, when we have the healthcare system running the best it possibly can & all the other problems we have in this country sorted out, then yeah sure, we can send more non lethal aid & civilian support to countries that are our neighbours like PNG, Solomon Islands, East Timor & all our other Island nation neighbours we have that can benefit from out help.
Finally once we have got our own nation & it's people sorted out & we have done the same for our neighbour nations then yeah we can start sending the same non lethal aid & civilian support for other countries outside of our nations sphere of influence. I think it only fair that Australia's politicians prioritise looking after Australians first.

First of all, the labour party needs to be none religious supporters by not supporting a state that wants to create a religion called Judaism. That also supports those who occupy others' land and filling with European DNA and simply colonisation by killing innocents. Even in israel, DNA tests are not allowed to make sure not to expose these European invation. While supporting Zionist child killer her dual citizenship was OK, but now it's an issue. If Australians are true to their apology toward aboriginal people, then first avoid supporting extremist colonial Zionist, then treat all Australians equal by giving freedom of speech. She is leaving labour as labour fails to support humanity and not because she wants to create a religious party. Clean the dirts in your body that you say others have. Exactly, and the imbeciles I see posting comments like "She was elected to represent Australians, not Palestinians" shows how imbecilic the general population is. Because the policies that Australia follows matter on the international stage.
If these idiots were thinking about Australia's interests as an ethical national actor, they wouldn't be blindly chastising a woman for crossing the floor for common human decency.

For God's sake. This is not about religion. it's about basic humanity. At least Payman has the courage of her conviction and that qualifies her above and beyond and the forelock tuggers in the corrupt two-party system.
You know when an issue is of genuine concern, not only to the country but the whole world. That is where both parties form a consensus to silence any dissent.
