It was not planned to be the last classic Sierra Leisure Suit Larry game, but it was and it went out on a high note. The music was a big part of that. Farewell and RIP to Leisure Suit Larry himself, Jan Rabson, and the voice in his head, Brad Venable (LSL Reloaded).
Ma dad brought me LSL7 from a car-boot sale and everything about the game was quality. Flippin Scratch n CyberSniff2000 card for walking into the sex room and smelling grey number 5 box which was fishy lol What a game... :D :D Finished the game playing with multiple friends n family. No other Larry in the series can match number 7 although la costa lotta 6 was pretty awesome.
I don't think it is, actually! He's credited with "Soprano Sax" -- and this is clearly an Alto. Methinks the "woodwinds" player (Kim Hutchcroft) is likely doubling Flute and Alto -- so is probably doing this number. (You hear Soprano in the Casino -- lovely playing.)
Forget that - I played LSL3 for the first time this Summer, and I found it funnier than any game you can get today! Al Lowe is a gaming genius... Look him up online, he's got his email on his website, he replied to me the next day!
Your comment is now 10 years old, but I agree with you whole heartedly. LSL3 was the first PC game I ever bought. I had a hand me down Tandy 1000 SL/2 computer with DOS 3.3. Bought this game for $10 at EB and fell in love with the Tandy 16 color graphics and the music was wonderful. Such a good story and characters. I miss those days...
Uuuuh, I believe Rob Schneider could cover that part. He is not very tall, he has brown hair and blue eyes and can play the loser type of guy quite well... :P
@agent008t Try LSL2, that's my personal favorite, with LSL3 not far behind. 2 was great IMO because he never did get the (or even a) girl until the very end. It was all about trying and failing until you conquer the "volcano god". Man I miss the classic Sierra Adventure games.
@JPalto But you have to remember that in the game's canon, he is technically the one making these games, so he would have to have okay'ed this theme himself for it to be in the game.
@RicoLen1 I played all of them a while ago, just skipped 3 somehow. And 2 has always been my favourite too! Such a shame that gaming has gone Hollywood.
Oh, don't mistake me people. LSL Reloaded IS funded, BUT Al and Replay need MORE funding to make LSLR BIGGER, BETTER, LONGER and THICKER. (Couldn't resist. Seriously, they want to add more content, but it costs them!) So pop to the Kickstarter or Replay Games Inc to help out! :)
@andjoha Yeah this is Al Lowe himself playing the sax. I forget who is playing with him, seemed like one of them was a big name from Sierra's hay-day too. I miss the old Leisure Suit Larry games, 1-3 had such a good humor to them, I didn't like it nearly as much when Larry Laffer went from middle age lech & loser to cute horny cartoon character.
They should do a remake on this game. And make it compatible. I have always wanted to play Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail. I have never played it and really would like to.
KDog31619 Then may be you should buy used larry 7 somewhere else and use custom installer from sierrahelp.com. I don't know how well they work, but it should do the trick.
I love Leisure Suit Larry. I'm 20, but I played the game since I was 4...Blame my father for letting me play. Can't wait for Box Office Bust to come out. I'm getting it for my 360.
Why not an official OST of this game? Guys, post enhaced versions (44Khz? 16 bit? anything better than 22Khz of the original CD) of these tracks below this message.
@libertydenied LotR has influenced many things, but to say that todays game osts are a ripoff of the LotR movies is not true. Just listen to the Baldurs Gate 2 or Diablo Soundtracks. They have been around even before the LotR movies were made and they have that kind of sound. It's just what fits these kind of games. A jazz soundtrack would seem totally silly there.
I just met Al Lowe two days ago at Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia and told him that I love this soundtrack. He said it was recorded in one day.
I wrote to him for a little chat long ago too and he replied. :) Lovely friendly gentleman with a good taste in the ladies ^^
Shows you he’s a damned good musician

Yeah it's Al playing that sax. It's beautiful man. *salutes Al and Larry*

@@CloudyMcCloud00 Yeah, that's nothing like Al's tone.
It's ridiculous that this theme is as good as it is.
I love this jazz tune!
Larry 7 is now on GOG and they finally added the SVGA version of Larry 6 to the Larry 1-6 pack
How can you not love this?
Larry7- the best of the best!!!
Legendary game music! I still have the original Leisure Suit Larry 1-5 for my Amiga 500. 😺😸🐈
One of my favorite game theme songs ever.
The best version to date.
I love this game, and the music is so great
Лучшая игра квест за всю историю, благодаря правильно подобранной музыке время просто сказка.
This version is pretty sweet.
Wow. This was really good version of the song.
It is amazing that this site has been hit 7,466 times. There must be a lot of LL fans out there.
What would you say about 143k times ?
Does anyone know if there is a TAB for this bass somewhere on the internet ?

Why thereis no hollywood film about larry?
+HeinrichGewinnsucht Because Danny Devito is now too old to play the part...
+HeinrichGewinnsucht i would play him ;P
Uuuuh, I believe Rob Schneider could cover that part. He is not very tall, he has brown hair and blue eyes and can play the loser type of guy quite well... :P
Because Hollywood has more than enough films about the archtype
Netflix adaptation 👌
i have too, been on the same quest, for ages!! "loungy jazz" is about the best description i can come up for it too.
CyberSniff 2000
Alors c'est de là que vient le theme son d'intro des vidéos Bob Lennon ^^
Et il l'a mis a son mariage
Wonder if it's Al playing the sax.. since he's pretty good at it..
Good old days...
ALRIIIIGHT? GOOD OLL LARRY LAFTER. i had major fun and laught like crazy in that game. best sierra ever
WHY CRUEL WORLD did you feel the urge to piss on good ol Larry and create the eight and ninth episode of this so otherwise fantastic game.
@agent008t Try LSL2, that's my personal favorite, with LSL3 not far behind. 2 was great IMO because he never did get the (or even a) girl until the very end. It was all about trying and failing until you conquer the "volcano god".

i love this game so mutch. and the music is awesome
Best LSL game
My personal fav adventure ever made of all time :) Phantasmagoria a close 2nd place

Best game in the series

try gog.com, it's only 3 dollars there and it's fully compatible with all the modern operating systems. Also you get manuals and other stuff.
It's only for people with Credit Cards, which I don't have, unfortunately.
KDog31619 Then may be you should buy used larry 7 somewhere else and use custom installer from sierrahelp.com. I don't know how well they work, but it should do the trick.
There's another problem there. I have an iMac. I don't think Liesure Suit Larry 7 was made for Mac.
It was made for Mac, but I know nothing about them.

It's 2020th, I'm 31 years old, I love this music but I just about now found that this music took some notes from Beatles - When I'm sixty four.
I fucking love L7 ost
Any one else think this is better than the 8th game. I think this game has a charm that the 8th game is missing
