I will be making these hats for the homeless and chemo patients. Made a Hobby Lobby run this week and bought plenty of different colors of I love this yarn. I really enjoy your videos.
As a novice crocheter, I really like this simple hat. Of course, all your tutorials are so thorough that I feel I can do most anything you demonstrate! Excellent teacher! Thanks so much! I love that this doesn’t have a seam!
I just wanted to thank you for this tutorial - my hat turned out great!! I like that it doesn’t have a seam. I’ll be trying another hat tutorial soon - Love your channel ❤✌️
I just made this hat for the #HATNOTHATE Campaign, I made mine just a few rows shorter and on the last Row I did a Reverse Single Crochet... I am very pleased with the way it turned out! 😊 Thanks for all your great tutorials Crystal.
Crystal, I love your tutorials. Direct and to the point. Great visual, very easy to see and follow. Thank you!! My neighbor was just diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, I’ll be making her some beanies.
Thank you for this hat Crystal. I needed a plain beanie base for amigurumi character hats. This fits the bill perfectly and I can make it for any size head.
That’s my favourite so far! Thank you crystal. I also just have to tell you because of all your wonderful yarn unboxing videos I’ve put in my first order to herrschners! I put a bunch in my cart last night and had a 10% off coupon but this morning had a birthday coupon come in for 15% off! I was thrilled I saved an extra $7 by waiting. Now I may need to have a pretend yarn unboxing by myself I’m so excited lol. Thank you for those videos, I’ve been binge watching them this week, I love knowing about all the yarn 🧶. Hugs from Pembroke, Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Finding you on youtube was a high point in 2020 for me. Love your videos and patterns, my crocheting has improved so much in 2 weeks from watching you...plus I made hats for family for Christmas! Yay me----yay you! Honestly, though, I do appreciate you. Blessings.
I taught my self to crochet and I still get confused when working in rounds. At the beginning when you said you were going into the first single crochet not the slip stitch AND you pointed out where the slip stitch was and what it looked like, you have no idea how much that helped me! Thank you so much! I really like this pattern and will be making a bunch of these. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve just made this hat, yes, time consuming, but absolutely fabulous, the texture is awesome, thanks so much for your tutorial and clear explanation. I’m a beginner and love hats. ❤
Cool hat. I can't believe people would unsubscribe bc of hat tutorials. Crocheters love beanies and these are also too support a worthy cause it doesn't make sense. I'll watch anything you post ❤ I know you've been busy but I am missing the BOD Squad.
awesome once again Crystal ..love this..already done two of the hats you showed us..will be doing this one also..I never wore hats much until i seen i could make the ones you did..so thank you..Hope you're family are all well ..

I am making this beanie, watching your vlog and watching your stash giveaway!! I have to keep pausing to come back here to get the directions for the next row🤪🤪🤪😍😍
starting this one now and Im using Caron Simply Soft in Saturday Blue Jeans Ombre. So glad I get to make use of some of the yarn I didnt know what to make with.
Hi Crystal! I just wanted you to know that I made this hat last night using red heart love metallic in gray. My last row was done in stitches of Sc and Tc alternating. I was thinking about making a matching cowl with an occasional Sc, tc, sc stitches throughout to match the hat. Thank you so much for inspiring me. ❤👍✌
Hey, Crystal, thought about what you said on F B. Next tutorial you do mention to people that u tube has been changing settings so they need to double check their subscribe button to make sure nothing's changed without their knowledge. Keep it up, your really good at what you do.
I love all the hats you are creating Crystal. I remember you saying you might not have the time to video the the bod squad. Just want you to know I/we are missing them! Wondering how your aero garden is doing .☺️
This is my favorite hat! Slightly more time consuming but always comes out perfect so don’t mind the little extra time. ***I am searching for an EASY SUPER EASY tutorial of a GRANNY SQUARE. I have tried a hundred different ones and for some reason I cannot pick up on a granny square. I’m sure I could learn from you... I looked through your videos and didn’t see one, am I missing it? Thanks for your tutorial on this hat!
Hi Crystal I wanted to know if I can use a 5 mm hook and to strands of thinner 4 weight yarn if I would get a similar sized hat or slightly bigger. I have 22 1/2 inch head. Love your videos miss your yarn shopping. I understand since covid started that shopping isn’t the same anymore. Yarn shopping parody was funny lol. Thank you
Hi Crystal Just wonder if you could help me:) My granddaughter asked me if I could make her a Cover for Horse Riding Helmet.. It has a peak.. Have you done a tutorial on one. Thank You Wendy
Ofc! I know your comment was from a year ago. Although, in her videos she mentions that chaining to make a magic ring is more easier for her. But yes, you can use the magic ring. :)
You look so cute in all your beanie hats. :)

This is the exact yarn (color and everything) I got to make a hat and scarf for my friend. :) I'm excited! :D She's going to love it. :D
I've been wanting to crochet a single stitch hat to add to my repertoire of hats/patterns. It's also nice you noted dimensions. I appreciate that.
Crystal, I love your tutorials. Direct and to the point. Great visual, very easy to see and follow. Thank you!!

Is it possible to make this even tighter ? Less holes. ?
There shouldn't be any holes with this stitch....try to tighten your tension
Hi lady. Does this beanie have a tendency to roll up ? If it does do u know what I would do so it doesn't roll up ?
Making a cameo hat for our son for Christmas 12/7/2022
