A couple of years ago, Evan and Katelyn made a “catcus” for their cat, Joob. You may want to redo Patrick’s house using their method and materials, since it has lasted years, although a senior female cat would be less rough on things than two young male cats.

Almost any paper can work in paper mache. You can sometimes find blank newspaper paper in craft stores. You could have also started with tissue paper from the dollar tree.

heres a tip for cardboard if you have power tools you can use w hole making drill bit for cardboard to make the eyes you would make it a perfect circle and way quicker. also for a more random texture pick up sea sponge its a natural sponge that is way more random

Cheap toilet paper for paper mache, less water and more glue, and more layers makes it nearly indestructible- I say this after having made some... sturdy... piñatas for my family.
