I have a 2000 clk320 and I had to lower my pitman arm part that is connected to the steering housing down to the spring clip ( I did not take it off) then I was able to take out the center link. If I did not lower the center link 2 inches I wound no have been able to take the link out/ I used a large pitman arm tool a small one for the other link on the passenger side and the lower part of the pitman arm that the center link connects to.
people love to talk when they use the company their jobs alignment machine. thats all. people dont legitimately know DIY stuff. thats why guys with hydraulic lifts in their garage are extremely slim. I used pickle fork too for all of them tbh. you should see my vid of the link 🤣🤣
HEY!! GREAT VIDEOS--- i have a ML55, SLIPS shifting from 2nd-3rd, only when at operating temperature,,,replaced the spring and the new tcm connector to no avail...no one has seemed to figure out the problem...got any ideas?

I know I should’ve, but it’s easy. Just slide back in. I think I touched on that. It’s really hard to film and work at the same time.

What yr.?
Drive shaft flex disc can cause slipping gear change and or vibrations from center console. I would check front and back
Is that a r129 beside the clk
