I still own this game to this day...I remember when T. Hawk would do his Super Move, the whole screen would shake back and forth, with a huge wind sound effect. When you played as T. Hawk, the effect of his Super Move was not nearly as impressive. I would always let the computer get one round in when it had T. Hawk...just to see it. Ah...memories!
Actually the emulation is not perfect. I have a 3DO but it stopped working, but the idea is when I store it directly from the console, and that's going to be very good. Pretty cool, you have the game until today.
This port uses the FM Towns remixes, which after this was used on the PS2 and XBox Hyper Street Fighter 2, and also before that, Street Fighter Collection 2 as a music option for the original 3 games.
But the problem is there no 3DO music for next anniversary. I remember it had the anniversary edition on PS2 and Xbox that used 3DO music also it used for PS1 for something for intro
I'm sure I'm not the first person to wonder why M. Bison still got 2nd place even though Akuma came in out of nowhere and kicked his ass. I realize that Akuma just came into this tournament out of nowhere. He didn't pay an entrance fee, he didn't register before the deadline and he didn't go through the proper performance enhancing drug screens. Not to mention he tried to enter the tournament one second after the start of the first round of the final match between the last two finalists. But Ryu defeated Akuma. For Ryu to get 1st place he should of beat M. Bison cause he was the champion. The tournament should of been rescheduled. It's not fair that Ryu gets 1st place and M. Bison gets 2nd place. M. Bison really got fucked over in this tournament. Even if they were going to count Akuma's criminal assault and battery as a loss for M. Bison then the results should be 1st Ryu, 2nd Akuma, 3rd M. Bison. Akuma totally just fucked up the whole tournament. The match between Ryu and M. Bison should of totally been rescheduled and finished out to its conclusion before the awards were given. This is a "World Tournament" for crying out loud!
Interesting observation, Bryan. It was clear that at the time Capcom did not have much fad in the history of the game and everything was very confusing, Street Fighter was to have been the continuation of Final Fight but they changed their idea. Only then did we realize that they had a plot telling a good story about the characters. At the time I read that the Akuma had killed Mr. Bison, and it does not happen like the story between Guile and Charlie, where one appears in Street Fighter: World Warrior on, and another appears only in Street Fighter Alpha versions.
@Rudy I was always told that Akuma killed M. Bison too. And that is what I assumed when I first saw it. But then M. Bison is standing there getting 2nd place.
Capcom decided to make Gouki (aka Akuma) the Grand Master, this is where the original Japanese title came in called Super Street Fighter X: Grand Master Challenge; when it came to America, it was renamed to the title it is. & this is why Gouki kills Vega (aka M. Bison) & you face him instead; if you lose to him he'd consider you weak & not worthy of a rematch & you would then fight Vega (Bison) in the rematch

SSF2T on the 3DO was the best home council version of the SF franchise in the 90's. However, the main 3DO controller only has 3 buttons in the front. You had to order a fighting controller to play it.
This is something I also wanted to see in Street Fighter 2, the things in the background actually have sound effects! Why didn't they do such a cool thing in the other versions!
Due to technical limitations. This was the first major home version of this game. I believe that soon after on the Sega Saturn the version was practically identical to the arcade one.
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo X : Grand Master Challenge...Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival...Hyper Street Fighter 2...Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix...Ultra Street Fighter 2 : the Final Challengers...
Mingau de Aveia yes i agree all of the stage backgrounds were static images of the originals except for the floors & the 3DO controller was the worst controller in the universe, But the character animation & music was spot on. the 3DO version opened the door to arranged, remixed music in Street Fighter games - which was absolutely beautiful
This version actually lacked a LOT of things. Old characters were gone. Audio is compressed and pitched too high. No Q Sound stereo separation. Backgrounds were jacked as all parallax and raster effects (Cammy’s stage in particular) are gone. Incomplete audio, (character yells are vastly cut back). Some of the UI graphics in general are quite off, especially on the character selection and map screens. And then there were the gameplay changes that probably stem from this not being ported directly from the arcade, particularly how EVERY character got CPS1 chains. The Saturn and PS1 versions were much better, although still not flawless in their own ways.
This was the best version ever of street fighter series, my childhood memories are in this game, I never play street fighter ever after this version, love this version ever..,😘😘😘😘
You is a very good player 👍. i have super turbo too on xbox 360 in her version remix 1080p 60fps 16:9 and i can said . The Alpha Max 3 and USFIV are good too.
Thank you very much, Odji Ramirez. At that time I used a Ps2 controller and I had difficulties, today I use an Xbox360 controller and I adapt better. I also have the HD Version remix and I liked the game. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo is my favorite franchise. Can you finish without continuing?
The PS1 version has full parallax scrolling, more frames and higher quality voices/sfx (even better than the Saturn version), so it takes longer to load. Also, both consoles have the same amount of ram (2mb)
Cospe Fichas - Arcade If you’re talking about the 30th Anniversary collection, then no. That version is the literal arcade version of ST, but be warned, it is NOT fun to play by yourself by any means. Just play it for yourself and you’ll see what I mean.
@@songoku9348 this game is awfully difficult and that is what destroyed the fun. if you are just a casual gamer, you will get your butt handed to you right away every round. much more difficult than street fighter 2 from 1991 which anyone could simply pick up and play.
Video Games Are Fun If you want a legit challenge with slightly easier difficulty, I highly recommend buying the Japanese version of the collection. It has the Japanese ST, the Japanese ST is much much easier.
If you need a variant of ST on Switch that bad, Ultra SF2 is as good as anything. And you can play with the original visuals. It, like the 3DO version is missing the Super or “O” variant of the characters, but unlike the 3DO port Ultra wasn’t supposed to be a direct conversion of SSF2T. Though truth be told, nothing beats the original ST for competitive play. Thankfully, the 30th collection has that.
No good port of this game was availability until the Dreamcast and beyond. Outside of the animation cuts, this version has SO many inaccuracies you could never play it for anything but for fun at home. And that’s ONLY if you were willing to fork out over $700 for everything. Including a 6 button controller. The PS1 and Saturn ports were much better but still had their gameplay based issues. And the Saturn version had a smaller visual field of view from being lower resolution.

Trust, hope and do good in god. 😂Believe in the gospel Jesus Christ for Jesus Christ shed his blood and died for the sins of the world and he was buried and rose again from the dead three days later. For Jesus Christ God almighty and the flesh and if you believe in the gospel you are spiritually reborn into the family of God.

Thank you for the message.
This is a good looking port. I think they ported this soundtrack to the PlayStation version of Street fighter 2.
This version is really wonderful.
@@Jan61083 unless someone's pay attention to detail you wouldn't notice the background.
@@apap7170 It is true. For me the best console version is Saturn.
First time I'm seeing the 3DO SF version. Almost similar graphics compared to the arcade
As far as soundtrack, I still refer the arcade
It was the best version at the time. There are many players who prefer the audio of the 3DO version.
As músicas simplesmente lindas😍😍😍
Concordo com vc, Enio.
13:34 ESSE REMIX DA MUSICA DA CAMMY MANO Q DELICIA❤
Muito bom mesmo.
Um dos melhores remixes
I still have this game lol
Akuma chan 🥵💜
That soundtrack tho!!!👍👏✊👊😊😊😊😊💙💚💛💜💕
never heard of that 3DO version , remastered soundtrack are amazing
Hadouken. HAdouken. HADouken. HADOuken! HADOUken!! HADOUKen!!! HADOUKEn!!!! HADOUKEN!!!!! So. Much. Hadouken.
Fear to lose. lol
aww man best soundtrack and its missing the best song the one that plays when you beat the game without losing
I couldn't finish without losing. I am going to try.
Listo hermano buen dia hoy es viernes 🍺
Buenas noches y feliz martes para ti.
Amaing player. Thx.
Thank you very much, mate.
21:10 i love it this moment
Played the hell out of this, even completed it with Chunli and guile.
Ni un solo overhead...
Sagats face after losing is quite funny
lol
It’s in really slow motion in comparison to the arcade.
The definitive home port of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, everyone.
The Saturn port is actually better graphics, gameplay and performance wise. Music is better on 3do though :)
i prefer the dreamcast port
SSF2T on the 3DO was the best home council version of the SF franchise in the 90's. However, the main 3DO controller only has 3 buttons in the front. You had to order a fighting controller to play it.
I agree with you. The weak point was the 3DO's three-button controller. Soon after, they released a six-button controller.
Super SF 2 Turbo : Grand Master Challenge. / the Ultimate Championship. 😍🥰😘
chic a música do índio twalk rsrs
Just here for the so real music ! :)
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo X : Grand Master Challenge...Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival...Hyper Street Fighter 2...Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix...Ultra Street Fighter 2 : the Final Challengers...
no paralax in this version of the game is a shame
When I played 3DO I did not like the 3 button control. Overall this version is great!
Nice gameplay
Buen video
I’m getting this purely for the soundtrack
Thanks for uploading
Thank you, Andrew.
This was the best version ever of street fighter series, my childhood memories are in this game, I never play street fighter ever after this version, love this version ever..,😘😘😘😘
i remember my first 32 bit game console was 3do. later i realised that 3do was a commercial failure. then i bought playstation and sega saturn
Did you like it at the time? I had the pleasure of playing it in 1994 and fell in love with the video game. It was a shame it lasted so short.
Dizem que a versão do 3DO é mais fácil que do arcade, a do PS1 eu sei que é.
@Cospe Fichas - Arcade: No, it's difficult to beat Akuma in normal or hard but i love your technic with Sagat. i love so much this game me too.
Akuma ruined my videos several times. (lol) The technique with Sagat or any other is to play as simple as possible.
You could record a match.
@@Jan61083 and now we have the 30th anniversary. The arcade AI is hard!
!
@@jcr8834 I have it for PS4.
The PS1 version has full parallax scrolling, more frames and higher quality voices/sfx (even better than the Saturn version), so it takes longer to load.
Also, both consoles have the same amount of ram (2mb)
Jogo é bom no geral. Mas as musicas se destacam mesmo.
The flat backgrounds make the scrolling floors look really weird.
The music on this is awesome, does the port in switch can have this one?
I have not yet played port to Switch, but I believe the arcade versions are pretty cool.
Thankfully, the 30th collection has that.
a melhor versão. saudades.
Gosto muito dessa versão também, John.
this game looked and played so much better on the Saturn
The Saturn 2D games were always the highlight of the console. It's hard to say why the two are very good.
6:53 3do with its infinite crowd loops at the end without fade out
The soundtrack is good, don't know why the sound effects sound so muffled.
I think this version draws attention precisely because of the sound of the game. But I could be wrong.
The 3DO control pad only 5 buttons (expect START button). It cannot perform some move.
Control is a big problem with 3DO.
There are 6 button controllers for 3DO, Capcom even developed something similar for this game.
There are also arcade sticks for the 3DO which made the controls great.
I was amazed when I played that title in 3DO, but I agree with you that for other consoles it got better.
I pull out the 3do and play this every once and awhile.
Amazing version *-*
6:48 3do couldn’t loop the music so you get the gap.
Ps2 and 3do is my favorite

Wish i could use that soundtrack with the arcade rom like i did with final fight arcade using the sega cd soundtrack.
Can not really use it?
