(Animation) Isabelle Joins The Cult Of The Lamb

- An overworked Isabelle is sent on vacation by Tom Nook. Little does she know, the little animal is crossing into some dangerous territory. It turns out that this innocent looking campsite she arrives at is actually run by a cult who seem to worship a cute looking lamb wearing a powerful red crown. Meh... what's the worst that could happen?
Full of secrets, sinners and sacrifices, here it is! The highly anticipated Cult of the Lamb and Animal Crossing crossover animation! This is a huge passion project of mine (created in ToonBoom Harmony and Adobe Premiere Pro CC) to create an interesting story filled with jokes, memes and references from the two games. The crossover cartoon took over 6 months to make. Scripting, character & background drawing, animation, visual effects, sound effects and editing were all done by me alone. Glow and Payton created outstanding music tracks specifically for this animation as well. Credits are below!
This animation isn’t just an achievement of my biggest animation ever, but it’s also a celebration of all the creative minds within the Cult of the Lamb community. Over 30 original characters are included in this cartoon! It was so fun designing them to fit the Cult of the Lamb art style (resulting in a cursed Yoshi form).
A giant thank you to Massive Monster for crafting such a unique and entertaining game! We’re all so grateful to keep playing and are hyped for the release of the new (and free) DLC update for Cult of the Lamb: Relics of the Old Faith! In fact, Devolver Digital have just released the new Cult of the Lamb update trailer too! For the Animal Crossing New Horizons fans, I would highly suggest trying this game out, it might be your new favourite game.

You can teach a cute little follower to worship you at every opportunity, but unfortunately you can’t teach them to clean up the god damn toilet every once in a while

@@elmodelo101 There is no upgrade that allows your followers to clean the toilet tho. There is only the janitor station that allows them to clean up things on the ground
I imagine a part 2 where Tom nook comes to the island wondering where his assistant went but Isabelle isn’t the same.. and doesn’t want to leave anymore..

Lamby needs the comeback. Narinder knows he needs the lamb to complete his task so he'll do what he can to ensure lamby gets the crown back

@@random_person57318 well technically prophecy states it has to be the lamb. When lamby got killed without the crown the crown had to use Isabelle as the host cause it needs to supply power. So maybe it's temporary like with Ratau

You perfectly captured the oddness of coming into the cult of the lamb as a "normal" person. It's hilarious that Isabelle decided against the outhouse and rather went into the bush. The attention to detail was also amazing, and the animation was smooth enough to be official.
It gets funnier when you remember that the lamb can’t die permanently
Not true, he was Seperated From the Crown, and Sacrificed To Fox, BOTH of these Factors combined are enough to end the lamb, trapping him with Narinder
Taking away the Lamb's crown makes him mortal again. That's what happens in the bad ending.

He explicitly says he will keep on bringing you back for now, as he still has a need for you
In the bad ending, you die permanently after you give up the Red Crown, but that's because now Narinder gets to wear it again and he doesn't need you anymore

I could see a second part where Isabella is exhausted from being the leader of a cult and after learning that she can bring back the dead, she returns Lamb to life to take care of the cult

She summons doom slayer to help as well.
Then Lamb just bows to her, spitefully calling her the leader, and explains that mvrder and revival is how he indoctrinated *_GODS_* into his cult.

I laughed hard at the followers traits part. Obviously if someone is 60% likely to just start singing sweet home alabama, they must go to the shadow realm lol

You know, I’m really curious would the lamb allow Isabelle to leave if she asked?
Understandably, she was really freaked out after seeing that ritual and most likely didn’t trust him after watching him sacrifice one of his followers.
She's allowed to leave as long as she isn't Dissenting.
Doomguy probably isn't happy about Isabelle becoming the leader of the cult, and I cannot for the upcoming part to arrive :3

From the art style I thought this might wind up being like one of those new-age elsagate videos, but there are genuinely good uses of game mechanics and visual gags, shows there was genuine thought put into this video.

This is utterly incredible Delta, AMAZING work, I hope that it gets all the love it deserves and more because the effort you've put in is absolutely remarkable, animating even the first minute alone would've been super impressive and you did TEN. Beyond just the animation it is astounding how well you've meshed the ideas of these two games together, paying tribute to both with sound effects, game mechanics, as well as considering how a character like Isabelle would respond to the physical environment and worldbuilding! ALSO THE FOX AT THE END WAS SO COOL I AM SCREAMING

Thats in character for Isabelle. She is a very hard worker and will do anything it takes to make her boss or bosses happy. Its cuz of her past as a pup with her brother Digby.

Honestly, my heart dropped when the Lamb got killed and I teared up honestly. I want him to come back to life, he didn't deserve it! (I know in the animation he sacrificed people, I'm sorta just saying from a point of playthrough where I didn't sacrifice one follower)

Fun fact:
Cult of the lamb is basically a more violent version of animal crossing since the core gameplay is the same, "build a Town" but in this case a cult, the only difference is how you progress though the game, in CFTL, it's via Combat and trade, in AC it's though harvesting and ofc, trading :3
