You're so brave. Keeping talking, people need to know this ❤️

You are not alone in this. I am in the age group where we just had to live with it all until menopause. I am so glad you are getting a fix as challenging as that is to get through.❥❊~

This is the single bravest, most candid video you have done. I cannot imagine how incredibly awful this must be for you. Both the experience itself and the filming/speaking openly about it. The closest thing I can relate to it is when I was attacked and nearly murdered in my sleep, and for about a year I had night terrors because my body associated falling asleep with danger and potential death. My poor wife had to listen to me moaning and fighting invisible horrors. I just wanted to give you a big hug after watching this, but I know your trauma wouldn't even let you be comforted by that and would likely just interpret another person (especially male) being close, as another potential threat. I hope one day you won't have to think too much about anything sexually related and just chill pursuing hobbies, passions and platonic love in all its beautiful forms. Hopefully this IUD will be one small step on the road of healing, and letting you focus on the life you're building for yourself, instead of being constantly reminded of the past.

Thank you for those kind words. I was scared to put this out there, I wasn't sure if I was showing too much emotion or not showing enough, and I had to remind myself there is no 'right' way to feel or share or talk about this stuff, and however I managed to get it out was exactly how it needed to be. And I'm definitely looking forward to the IUD just knocking out that one reminder of trauma. I've come so far in not being constantly afraid and hyper-vigilant, which you would definitely relate to from that terrifying experience, and I honestly think that if this one major reminder of that trauma is removed, it will do wonders for my overall mental health.
