- It's hard for us to believe we released patch #15 containing the new Elementalism magic school already a few weeks ago now, but we still wanted to provide a short video showing some of the new spells you can all obtain in the world today.

...elementalism spell system needs something like voice activation, each spell icon looks the same^^ ecu, necro and spiritism has at least useable identification
Beautiful trailer. But all the frames with PvE are very frustrating. Looks like Star Vault understand how it should look like, but it doesn't work like this in game. We need increased (at least twice) damage in PvE from spells, otherwise all this magic will be useful only for PvP.
U just compere with melee. Mage can easily have pets for pve or get a party. You can kill mobs with fire bals but need vitalism on 100 and a lot of reagents
@@nikalasnalter4431 good luck kill a bear with 400+ hp with magic. It is possible, but with melee/archery/pets you can kill bunch of bears without a sweat. I am not talking about bandit leaders, risars, campodons, minotaurs and so on. Only walkers can help with this if you a pure mage.
And in the trailer you can see how cool is to throw a spell that will kill dozens of undeads like in Diablo or Path of Exile. But this walkers have 1 hp and will die from anything, that is why they don't give clade or loot. Or how cool to throw a boulder in bunch of bandits. But this boulder will do around 15+ damage that is only 5% of their life, and then this bandits will start beating you, because you just a mage with concentration that doesn't work that good in melee.
@@Avaira turtles , max level campodons , even carrying a couple lvl 100 wolves if you have herding could easily make you stronger than any melee fighter in terms of DPS . Just gotta stack your build properly with taming/dominating and CC + adv CC and beast master
@@pandahsykes602 Do you realize that pets are not a part of magic? I am using kallardian axe and can faceroll everything with 150+ damage per hit. But this is not a magic. Farming just by magic is very bad right now. We have only walkers for this and spirit box farming in Ether. All this fancy aoe spells close to useless in pve even with 200+ mana.
Actually pretty cool. Despite not having the light spell yet. :(

Ecumenical actually alchemist combining properties to make effect or reaction, So it's not the same like elem. Which is controlling 4 elements.
Elem can't cast while mounted So ecu has advantage on open Area and elem on Cqc or tight space.

How is this any kind of showcase? It's a few seconds of game clips with some spellcasting in it.
You are showcasing NOTHING.
If you remove both the intro and outro it's legit a few seconds too.
SV literally has zero clue. Sad. Such potential.
According to cambridge dictionary, showcase means "to show the best qualities or parts of something".
Were you expecting an in depth video guide about every spell and how to obtain them? That's not meant to be sarcastic, just genuinely curious.

I totally agree...a lot of showing of animations but cuts right before the spell actually hits...like who really care about the animations...i wana see the spells actually fuck shit up :)
@@ValoranVale so the best parts are spell animations and particles...WOW...(kind of like an arena with a gladiator being SHOWCASED and all he does is swing his sword) :)

you need to learn how to optimize a game..
sparkles in VFX = bad perf and usually that mean you select default settings or you buy bad quality assets from the store
"sparkles in vfx" don't always equate to bad performance, I've been around a lot of elementalism spells since the patch and the performance is fine, I'm not sure why you would jump to the conclusion that it's badly optimized.
I also haven't seen anyone post links to where they bought any of this on a store, so I'm not sure why you're assuming they're store bought either.
I'm sorry but this just seems like negativity for the sake of negativity.
A sparkle effect and flying object in a game can be made with relatively little particles and might have as much impact on performance as an arrow. Yes, some games put too many particles and effects.
MO is supposed to be visually appealing UE5 is going to make this look amazing
to bad this games full of dupers and hackers
