As a mother of two adult sons, I feel so bad for Ms. Dawn because I know she did all she knew to do for AJ. Even if she was hungry, she would have given AJ her last piece of bread. AJ was thinking wrong and associating with the wrong people. He felt put upon just because his parents wanted him to do the right thing. The grandparents are in denial because they have already lost so much. This case has touched so many people, and many of us are praying for their healing. At some point, they will have to accept that AJ will be in prison for decades.

But I’m almost certain that you do not have a teenagers of your own, because if you’ve been around many then you know they get in trouble. I wanna have kids too, and I call myself selfish for having them. I think basically everybody is selfish for wanting to have kids, if we were not selfish we would adopt. But another way you could say you’re giving someone life that would not have a life otherwise. So you look at AJ and you say selfish, but other people do the same thing and it’s no big deal to you. Even though it’s not great, if I thought I might spend the rest of my life in prison I would try to have a child too. Family gets old, family forgets about you, they die off, so you need somebody younger Who will love you and be there for your entire life. Of course it’s selfish, like I mentioned above.

I didn’t grow up with a dad and I would agree that that is the most selfish decision someone could make. Especially someone as evil as him, he knows what he did. Please don’t try to justify him making the decision to have a child because now the child will have to pay for the choices that the animal of his dad CHOSE to make. Also, having a kid shouldn’t be because of how much they could love us.. it should be made based on how much we can love THEM and be there for THEM.. it’s our job to make sure we protect them, as they have no say in who their parents are

The only reason I feel he didn't do it was because he had no gun resdue on his hands nor clothes and why 7yrs later they come up with DNA was found on a sticker on a shirt AJ was wearing during the interview with the cops when it first happened those jurors know they had no case that's why they had 3 trials..I honestly feel the brother did it and don't forget they were threatened by outsiders and upto now they still getting threats come on now

some of us actually watched the trial unlike you … he practiced shooting the gun in his room and his phone search history shows he wanted to burn down the house and even took actions to do that. The alarm system didn’t go off and nothing was stolen. Why would a killer use the parents gun and know the safe combination and leave the gun at the crime scene. Lastly why did the killer spare him and his sister they are witnesses. The alarm never went off until it was disarmed for the police to come in … meaning it was either aj of his sister and aj is the only one with a motive

It's not just about AJ. It's about the example of just how far does corrupt official office go? AJ could be any one of us, especially with an expert saying DNA evidence was PLANTED. Some people in authority want to reach too far with the access to individual lives that they have. And the question is, are they ready for the consequences, or is this the goal overall? Looks to me, like they're pushing people to the edge of forcing a choice to run or to fight.
