Just remember when you’re using essential oils, you need to use a darker bottle. It protects essential oil in the chemistry breakdown.

@Trinity M well. Yes and no. Let’s be honest. Cooperations love making money from black hair care products. And one of the big kickers are, they’re not even black! For an example relaxers, they advertised it as something great for our hair, but in reality now many women have cancer from it. it’s funny because when you look up some of the girls on the relaxer products boxes, they’ve shared that they didn’t even have relaxers! All they got was a press and curl… but to us it was advertised as their hair being relaxed and then styled and people bought it because they “trusted the science” and the ingredients used to make it. I think the point that she’s making is that she knows exactly what’s in her hair oil which is probably like three ingredients as compared to these big companies who say they value, good quality ingredients in black hair care products, but in reality, they are putting whatever they want with big fancy scientific names on the ingredients list in which people don’t even know what they are and mean. It’s apparent that you don’t even care what you put on your body lol. You trust the “science”. Like look at your conditioner bottle and hair moisturizer bottles and you can clearly see that there’s alcohol in it as an ingredient…. And then you’re probably wondering why your hair is so dry… so then you buy a hair mask sealant, hair lotion and leave in, and yet your hair is STILL dry unless you finally add some water and shea butter in it lol. Like… ask yourself Why is there alcohol in a conditioner???! but if you wanna trust corporations whose main goal is to push whatever trendy products out just to surpass breaking even (because lest be honest, we’ll-known businesses nowadays care about quantity over quality)To each it’s own, Jenb said what she said though.

I absolutely love and respect the positivity and focus on solutions that you present here!!! I live in a small town in Indiana with a small ethnic community. Our stores have had a small (but growing!) ethnic hair section that I've always shopped because the products have worked! But I've always bought the clearance items, and after they've been on clearance and no one has bought them. I kinda figured I gave everyone their fair chance before I bought it. I bought the only bottle of Mielle rosemary and mint oil at least 2 years ago after it was on clearance for a month, and it worked amazing for my hair! I do appreciate you sharing the concerns surrounding making sure the intended audience for certain products get a fair chance to buy, even though I feel like I had that mindset in my heart for years, it just affirmed it for me. I mean, clearance: I'm not gonna let it sit there and go rancid on the shelf either!! And since I've been for 3 years making DIYs based on Henna Sooq and Curly Proverbz recipes, this one looks awesome too. I just had to come on and commend you for coming up with an amazing solution to a real problem! It shows your knowledge of the subject and your passion for serving. Well done!

    (2) You have to use essential oils at the correct manufacturer’s usage rate or else you can cause skin irritation.
    (3) Oil base products should have vitamin E added to prevent rancidity of the oils.

Thank you for sharing this. I usually do DIY hair oil and creams for my hair. Since I have very sensitive skin eczema and asthma. So my hair regimen is very simple. My allergies won't allow me to use certain products. I will try this diy oil. I will leave out the Almond oil since its an alllergy trigger. Keep up the good work. 🌼❤🙏🏼☝🏼
Also the light hair looks pretty on you.🌟👏🏼👍🏼

Ty I love this and can't wait to try it. Appreciate all of your content and love that you start with a scripture. I also think it would be dope if utilized some of your fav Christian hip hop or r&b in place of summer walker to just really tie it all together. But those are just my thoughts. Ty for this DIY I hope you do more in the future. But also, as soon as your products restock im buying! 🥰😁

Pls note that essential oils r drying and can cause inflammation to pur skin and scalp.. Yes, Rosemary oil does increase bld flow to the scalp, but over time, it causes inflammation to the scalp. Subsequently, it causes hair to b dry and brittle and break off. Thats based on research and meta analysis. Pls check out Dr V on utube. She talks abt that. She's a researchers and cosmetic formulator for Skin of color. She really knowledgeable and gives great information.
