    Nice video of Cusco Mr. Wanderer Bell! I felt the effect of high altitude when I went to Mt. Titlis in Switzerland, which was 10,000 feet elevation. My husband and I felt a little dizzy and slight short of breath. I don't think I want to visit Cusco and Machu Pichu because of the high altitude. Through your detailed videos along with your unscripted narration makes me feel I'm traveling vicariously.

      Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and could travel vicariously through it. Altitude can be challenging. I have been to Mt. Titlis too and Cusco altitude is even more intense.

    I nearly go to Peru in 2012 but my late Mom got sick that time so I pledged I will not go just she'd recover. And she did and lived until Feb. 2017. So I aborted my trip. Even researched to munch on Coca leaves and drink Coca Tea to acclimatized with the thin air due to high altitude because I planned then to go to Machu Picchu. Seen many videos but you're the only one who showed the temple of the Inca Emperor in Cuzco. Thank you.

      I am truly touched by your story and your dedication to your late mother. I am glad that you found the video helpful. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I hope you get the chance to visit these incredible places in Cusco someday.

    Perfect soundtrack for the museum. Sounded like an Indiana Jones scene 😊. Magnificent buildings in Coricancha. "Say Cheese" 😅Agrerd with the group tours. They may be great for people who want guidance but they are limiting and slow you down..Cusco is beautiful..5 soles got you all the way to the top 👍🏻..room 206..gotta remember that 😉..Vertigo? Maybe you were dehydrated. Put some Celtic Sea salt under your tongue. Let it melt and take a few sips of water. It will take approximately 45 minutes for the water and salt to get absorbed by your body. Its all about replenishing minerals.

      Glad you liked the soundtrack.Thank you for the suggestions about the vertigo treatment. I will look into Celtic Sea salt. If you plan to visit Cusco, I highly recommend you stay in that hotel that you saw in this video and pick room 206 as it has windows and it is on the top floor. The other small rooms are cheaper but they don't have windows. The hotel is in the heart of the old town and everything is within walking distance.

      @@WandererBell noted ✅..Glad I can be of service by offering you occasional advice. I really liked your hotel, it's location and the way your room looked. I wrote it down immediately. Your videos are instructive. I'm becoming a fan of yours 👍🏻😎😇

    Very interesting, Cusco. Many Old and modern spanish buildings. And the Inca Walls. Big Stones on top of each other with no mortor in between. .

      Absolutely! Cusco's blend of ancient Inca stonework and Spanish architecture creates interesting contrast between history and modernity.

      Thank you so much, Mark for the feedback. It really helps when I hear feedback from my loyal viewers. I also wish I could provide more info about the places I visit but it is very challenging to do that for these types of unscripted videos.

    That's a great deal for the hotel. I got a similar room but $100
    I have the noisy side.

      I always request a quiet room on the top floor when booking a room.

    How did you choose hotel? You always pick great hotels ... I am checking for November and Unaytambo Boutique Hotel filling up. Would you choose hotel again? How was the breakfast?

    • @WandererBell
      @WandererBell  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I chose it based on the location. I'd choose it again if I revisit. Make sure you pick a big room that has windows on the top floor. The breakfast is fine but you need to order Omelette when you go to the breakfast room.

    The Faroe Islands are problably a little more expensive than Denmark. They need to import everything except the sheep

    • @WandererBell
      @WandererBell  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's true! Being reliant on imports does make the Faroe Islands a bit pricier, but their unique charm definitely makes up for it.
