After watching your last few SoD2 videos, I subbed because I was looking forward to this video, and this video did not disappoint. I'm glad I found your channel. I really enjoyed this. Thanks for your time & effort doing this. I'll definitely watch more if you decide to do more.
Thanks so much for your kind words! There will definitely be more of these coming in a more timely fashion. I didn't really go into it in the video, but I had delays both on the personal and technical side. I really wanted to reduce/eliminate graphic stuttering in SoD2 combat- which I think I've finally succeeded on. Next episode will probably be the biggest test of that as I'll be going after a plague heart. Take care!
Great video, very informative with good tips. My only suggestion would be don't deposit the materials you took from the car in straight away. If you do that it cancels the first mission which gives you another rucksack of materials, so you're losing a rucksack of materials straight away. Hope that makes sense. 👍😁
Have you considered opening up the custom difficulty settings and only sliding up one or two of the options to dread? That should help you dial it in. Of the three sliders, only the bottom one actually resets the entire map and puts your survivors back at the beginning (because it adds/takes away hearts).
That's probably a subject of great debate because "best" is highly subjective. haha Trumbull valley is going to come up a lot, however it can have ample travel time depending on where your base is relative to quests. I think Meagher valley is decent in general because most things are relatively close (not much empty driving space on that map) and you can cross the river in a lot of places. Providence ridge and Drucker are a little harder to navigate than Trumbull and have some spread as well. Cascade feels like it is easier to navigate than PR mainly because a good chunk of the action is in the top-middle and most left of the map. I would pick Cascade before Providence/Drucker if I were trying to ensure decent blocking of sieges and easy flow through the map (right->left). I would then move to Meagher or Trumbell. The former for more of a "mostly town" feel, the latter for more of a spread out country/subs with one real jam-packed city area feel.
As the difficult gets higher drive more carefully don’t just run zombies over also look at videos on best 5th skills they could help make things easier
I might have mentioned it in this episode or perhaps the next, but normally I don't fast search without Stealth. However early on in a game (and during the day) it's not as risky.

That's a great piece of advice! I'll remember that in the future.
Marathon
Stealth
Endurance or Swordplay
Weaponhandling or sharpshooting
best ever assasin class,
I like gunslinger with a silenced weapon
I’m unsure what difficulty to pick because I just started but dread is a little difficult for me and I die often but standard is to easy

@@GameMnke and I’m not sure if it matters but what is the best map ?

There should be a guaranteed one sample drop from bloaters.
For sure. Especially if you can x-bow them in the noggin.
Bro dont fast search on nightmare and lethal difficulty its draws tuns of zombies
