I was stationed near Fulda from early 85-Jan 88. I was in V corp Arty 2/92FA and we directly supported 11th cav. Exciting times. I am glad to see more wargames out on the subject.
@@MoesWargames I have both times and they have resolved the issue quickly. I just think its worth commenting on the allignment of counter sheets when making an unboxing video.
This looks like a game that I would have dearly loved when I was 17 and living in Zweibrücken. Now, I fear that it's just too much to realistically play. I also think it's trying to give you company commander decisions while giving you a corps commander scope, which I'm much less interested in now than I would have been 45 years ago. Gorgeous looking game, though, and almost worth buying just for its ambition.
It's been great to see the resurgence in popularity in the WWIII that (thankfully) never was. We can now safely game it out on our tables, rather than have it destroy the world.
We'll hopefully be getting a Learn to Play scheduled in the future, depending on Adam's schedule. We've covered OSS, and I've been wanting to get CSS covered as well.
Physical components are top notch, few errors on some of the counters but I’m sure that they will be replaced in due course. Too many errors in the rule book, disappointing. Some dubious implementation regarding Wire guided AT weapons firing over water. Unsure about the air support implementation, a lot of additional work for very little game impact, it”s been done far more elegantly in other games I’ve played (NES. Jaws of Victory, for example). LOS rules are a particular issue for me, but a players guide has been written and submitted that will hopefully correct and clarify. I own all the games in the series. Not put me off thus far 😎 The planned ‘Unified’ system rulebook will undoubtedly help. Update: the ground scale is incorrect. Game scale is 500m per hex. When compared with an actual map of the area the distance across each hex is actually 1000m that will mean all the steep slopes aren’t steep. The terrain is gently rolling terrain for the most part, very few areas where tracked vehicles couldn’t traverse. We have leg movement costs, but no leg units that can actually move. We have additional support weapons for the armored units in the form of squad assault weapons. APCs lose their ATGM capabilities when they flip. Too many poorly researched or ill thought out mechanics. A great pity because the graphics are as good as any and better than most in the hobby.

V Corps eh? You'll love the upcoming game from Bruce in the Air & Armor series for V Corps then! Even more on the way!
Are the counter sheets all correctly alligned I have had two compass games recently that didnt.
They were for me. If you have sheets that aren't just e-mail sales@compassgames.com and they'll take care of you pretty quick.

Ever get this to the channel?
Haven't had a chance yet myself, possibly have a Learn to Play on it in the future but that will be up to Adam if he's interested in doing it.
Can you do a play through of this game? It’s so massive I’m afraid to get it to the table.

Which game are you playing at the moment?
Nothing. All of my stuff is in storage as I've been in the process of a house move. :(
@@MoesWargames Must be frustrating for you. Good luck with the move.
@@chrisyates3598 it's been feeling like weeks of Mondays I will say. lol Thanks!
This game is so beautiful, the production values are incredible. Now to get it to the table...gotta finish NATO first!
agreed, production is fantastic! NATO is an awesome one, hope you're enjoying it!
Good stuff Moe
Thanks!

A 'system' rule set is a must for series games IMO, and it's good to hear that's being worked on!
