New SCX1000A-3 crawler crane - owner and operator share experiences

A Dutch company who has been working with Hitachi for 36 years has recently purchased a new SCX1000A-3 crawler crane.
The company has several Hitachi and Hitachi Sumitomo excavators and cranes.
"These machines support our core activities: waterworks, concrete structures and foundations." Says Leo van Dijk, Managing Director, Gebr. De Koning.
Corné van der Vlist has been the dedicated operator of the SCX1000A-3 since its delivery in April 2014. He says: "It is easy to move a load - even though the machine is very large - as it is easy to control and manoeuvre."
"The crane also has a monitor that helps to calculate the distance from the load, how heavy the load is, the limit value and that type of information, which means that it is very enjoyable to work with."
Leo van Dijk continues: "In selecting the SCX1000A-3, we opted for Hitachi's reliability."
