After finding the 3 in C6 and the consequent 7s and 3s in boxes 4 snd 5 this solve just flew to a conclusion! No esoteric combinations needed today! Have a wonderful day and enjoy the holiday!
Not bad. Nothing at all difficult, but a merry dance around the grid (8 = row 8 column 7): 87, 41, 64, 36, 23, 65, 69, 86, 46, 56, 43, 51, 45, 44, 48, 19, 18, 59, 85, 94, 11, 15, 99, 73, 61, 82, 83, 62, 63, 92, 91, 93, 72, 96, 76, 97, 98, 78, 77, 58, 57, 54, 55, 33, 29, 39, 25, 35, 21, 31, 27, 37, 22, 32, 24, 34, 28, 38. According to HoDoKu, this has only four hidden singles, but I'm pretty sure I found a good many more. It seems that I have a tendency to pick out hidden singles before they become naked.
A pretty nice one. Not very hard. I started with the classic NYT triple in row 6, which sorted out block 8 pretty well. Then the 58 pair in block 6 gave good discipline to block 5. From there on, things would lead to other things.

Thank you

Yes, today's grid isn't very trying
Correction, the triple was in column 6, not row.
