Unfortunately, they just announced that they're abandoning yearly chapter content in favor of smaller seasonal updates in 2025, with more details in April. This sounds awfully like a battlepass, and it has many of the community concerned.
I tried it, but all the MMO stuff just didn't do it for me. Same with Fallout 76 (though that was also because of the glitches which are bad ever for Bethesda). I like the fact that in the base games I can level up to the level of a god, but this sounds like "Hey. Hope you like struggling all through the game, and grinding your brains out." I'm 47. My days of playing games with a steep learning curve is over. I just want to get dropped into a world and f shib up. I don't want to make friends. I don't want to do raids with anyone. I just want to explore and destroy. Just never felt like I got that with this game.
While enemies scale to you, it is possible to get strong enough with the champion system to where most enemies won't give you any problems. I have soloed the game almost exclusively since the beginning. The main reason to play at that point is for the exclusive lore. ESO has introduced regions like High Isle that have never been explored in any other mainline Elder Scrolls game.
Yeah it is something we wanted to highlight, there is grind and it's definitely not Skyrim, this is an MMO and if that ain't your type of game then maybe it ain't for you
Yeah, this year the latest chapter (West Weald) was released. Right now this years New Life Festival started and a second Golden Pursuits is going. If you complete 20 goals you get a free mount. And can travel with a companion after doing their quest. For me it IS an Elder Scrolls game with other player running around.
I've been playing for about 200 hours. I think I'm just starting to get the hang of it
I didn't even have a character build until about 250 hours, lol. That's when I started messing with veteran dungeons.
That's impressive and also a testament to how huge this game is, interested as well how you manage 250 hours without a build 😂

You missed the "this video is sponsored by Microsoft"
It looks like it’s still holding up.
Surprisingly well considering what it's built on

This is the first video I've seen from this channel. And the last, jesus how can you get so many things wrong?
