By the sounds of it Rex and Trike will probably be the next ones out. From the dev talks they were the ones furthest along behind maia. My hope is we'll see them in about a month or two after the hoardtest is finished. :)
To be honest, I think it would be pretty cool to see what a sauropod would be like in the isle. I mean you did have the legacy once’s but they were never official never being finished and were locked to people with dev access only. Either way, it would be a sight to see just a massive sauropod in the distance towering over trees.
I really simpatize with players that are hyperfixetaded with combat stats because that's the ONLY fun thing to do in the game right now. However i find it so dumb for people to not realize that the game is not supposed to be like that forever and we need to focus the feedback on other aspects of the gameplay loop.
ive said it before and ill say it again, if you're going down into the water... the deeper you go the dimmer the light from the sun should be. Thats how it works in real life, i shouldn't be on the river bed and be blinded from looking up. needs to be addressed to improve crocs gameplay

@0:55 I’m glad they addressed the strategies bc it seems like the people that cry about balancing literally just look at the number stats and don’t consider the other factors of the game. Not everything needs to be a dps machine or speed demon to be viable when good use of turn radius and plant cover are available tools. I’ve escaped so many deaths hiding in plain sight bc I didn’t run in a straight line and they got dizzy tryna focus on my dryo doin donuts around them. I learn how to counter playables I wanna avoid by playing them just to learn their perspective, what they need to look for to survive, where they spawn to know what areas to avoid if I can’t risk a fight.
Nickboay is another great example of bc he can kill anything as an Omni raptor bc homeboy knows how to use his turn radius and manage distance. Mix that with patience and you’ll be a successful hunter is this game often
The issue is that maia can chase down and kill almost anything in the game because it faster than everything and can knock them down, so any experienced player using maia can just kill anything they want It is also hard to hide from a maia as something like a dibble, or a cerato, and you cannot run from it either I just think they need to make it so you cant knock things down while sprinting as maia or cant knock down things that large with the frontal attack
@@bloo4456 I do see the struggle with those playables and at least Diablo can get help from trikes in the future but I agree that they should be able to deter a Maia in their own bc it’s cruel to have to watch a 3hr dibble go down the drain to some shitbag. I think cerato is a healthy battle of skill tho bc you can still out turn a Maia and bait them to into charges that they can’t bail from as fast as you can. At least maias are normally loud and big enough to spot from a distance so I feel that avoiding them isn’t the hardest thing to do. They prefer big fields bc they have a camera advantage there and darkness is their biggest weakness so capitalizing on that is key

@bloo4456 I feel where ur coming from bc it is an intimidating thought to have have to encounter that in the game. I think it’ll fit in better once we get allo and juvie/sub rexes in the mix since we gonna need that combat capability. Nothing is final either so maybe it gets star changes or increased cooldown/stun timers. Time will tell my friend
I would rather Allo before Rex mostly because I think they should add more medium and small playables or AI in before apex playables mostly so the smaller playables don’t suffer from the apexes
@ yeah the AI teno work from what I know but they removed it for some reason and I would imagine if all the small herbivore playables hade AI that would be good for making up space because not much people plays small herbivores but if they don’t want to add medium AI dinosaurs then cows or elk could do
Yes it just works a bit slowly. I tested it on Herbie's and with that you can hold E and keep going while with something like a Troodon you have to keep pressing E in order to keep having your hunger go down - nutrients aren't affected by it.
it works over time, it fastens up the hunger decay (as tested it goes down by 0.1% x second instead of the usual 0.03%, so it's a x3 multiplier on decay)
@Hunter_17825 okay, I just expected them to work differently, in a way that similar to salt rocks, where you travel to a bit distant places and see the immediate effect after consuming one.
