Just reading the comments and I agree with everything that was said and your comments. I think this version was better not only for the cleaner sound but also for the perfectly framed picture of all of them performing directly in front of us. (No moving camera angles). It's hard to improve upon the perfection of their original recording but I think they did it. Thanks for your reaction. Very much appreciated.

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but this IS the original version, apparently recycled for this performance to insure that the audio was studio quality. Compare it to the other cover they recorded for Letters & Music during their home quarantine, when they performed "A Million Dreams," in which the audio quality was noticeably inferior to this. They did the same thing several months ago, in a concert for their Patreons (on Mother's Day, I believe), when they reused the studio recordings of several songs they had released previously (including "Never Enough"), in order to have the best possible sound quality. They paid a professional sound studio to bring their recording of "Wind Beneath My Wings" up to the highest standard that could be achieved, but they already had excellent versions of the rest of the songs in the concert, so they used them. (I'd provide the link to the concert, but it appears to have been deleted by TH-cam over a copyright complaint from WMG.) I recall them talking about how Mylene was unhappy that the sound studio was getting paid, when she wasn't receiving anything for her work as an arranger, and none of the others were getting any remuneration for the work they were putting in. Anyway, the point is that they sometimes (albeit rarely) choose to go with preexisting sound tracks when the alternative would be lower quality audio.

I agree Dan but just a tad better version although this is quite the same as the previous version....this song requires a wide range and is difficult I was expecting the same way you do and nervously for them....i was especially focusing on the low notes but no it was done same way as before....understandable for females but the high notes were impecable as well as the harmony....4th impact sisterly is hard to beat when it comes to harmony....always love shen you react to 4th impact!
I wouldve preferred Celina doing the last note .....For Me.....she has the sweetest voice....or together but with different tones that harmonize

It’s hard to beat it due to the expectation, but they have more experience and their voices have matured especially Celina and Irene. This is in their top 3 for me. Mylene’s arrangement is unbelievable. Their last cove of “Our Love” May have taken over 1st place. Thanks Dan 🙏❤️🚂

this is not a better version of Never Enough than their earlier, studio recording. it's exactly the same. they aren't singing live in this video. it's the same Amazing studio recording.
Maybe it was reedited to fix some distortion. But it did sound different. Im gonna watch the two side by side part by part now 😂

@@ohbabycat Most videos are mimed. The recording is done and mastered before the video is shot. Even if they look like they're doing a recording session, its probably already recorded and just on playback.
