      the problem with those in Lybia is they went there willingly. So, its not considered enslaved cause they are still going there despite the knowledge of such conditions happening. Sometimes, some of our brothers need to take care of themselves before making such journeys.

    This report has not stated the justification given by Kenya. There are reasons why. The Unhcr Kenya office knows and have thanked Kenya for the support.
    You are misleading the public by not stating the facts. Your report also has not stated that this is the third attempt since 2015, to close the camp.
    It's been 30 years of helping thousands of people some of whom are thankless and most ungratefu. They often insult Kenya. . We've received the insults in peace. We did our part.

    It's not right to bite the hand that fed you when your neighbours refused to shelter you. Somalia officers started this border issue and brought it to the global scene without Kenyan officials knowing. Before camps were officially formed Kenya welcomed hundreds of Somali citizens when it's other neighbours were not capable. Kenya has risked so much and baby sat Somalia for years despite the funding of UNHCR.,The Kenyan government has part of its budget to help refugees. Kenya is one of the smart countries in the world. The Somalia officials should go back and read Kenya border disputes cz Kenya has remained fierce in protecting its borders. Idi Amin did the same trick claiming the Kenya-Uganda border was in Kakamega but President Moi was fierce. The migingo island thing, Kenyan won.

      Are you even up to date with the whole incident? No you are not. Let me reach you as your clearly emotional. In 2009 the Kenyan government approached the Somali government to sign a MOU. It was not Somalia but Kenya who drafted this document with the help of Norwegian Diplomats. The same diplomats that Kenya is now accusing of pushing Somalia. After Somalia signed the MOU it was rejected by the Somali parliament and negotiations with Kenya began. Kenya failed to show up to the last meeting and after ignoring the Somali team, the Prime Minister not the president, took the case to the ICJ after Kenya failed to negotiate. The PM was replaced as a result. The Kenya side then wanted to negotiate and as they are doing now threatened to close the Dadaab camp, which they get millions from. Trust me most Somali want the camps relocated to South West Somalia so the area can get a boost in trade. Even your KDF is not appreciated in Somalia. İt is only the poor refugees who after suffering to get to these camps dont want the uncertainty of moving back. Based on international law and past judgements Somalia will certainly win the case. You talk about Somalia being ungrateful, who did you ask this? The Somali are very grateful but also are aware that since 1991 with the collapse of The government, billions of dollars from the global Somali community went through Kenya and particularly Nairobi contributing almost 20-30% of tax to The Nairobi tax revenues. Just because someone helped you doesn't mean you can take their property and land. If there is a disagreement then it should be settled at court, just as Somalia is doing now. So why is Kenya so upset and doesn't want to conti he the case? Because their whole case and arguments are rubbish and irrelevant. Not based on any international law or judgements.

      @@charlibravo371 There is a difference between Opinion and emotion🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️... It is clear you didn't read what I said. President Kibaki launched 'Linda Kenya' initiative to protect Kenya from outside in 2010/2011. It is clear there were initiatives made to protect Kenya from inside Somalia. The Norwegians were just mad they didn't get to mine oil in Turkana after Kenya rejected one of its company. That is why it pressured the Somalia government to file a case against Kenya in 2014 concerning its maritime. The Norwegian Somalia leader thinks the Norwegian government has Somalia interests at hand but the truth is together with Britain. The Norwegian government is going to keep that war going on, take free oil and Somalia resources for free without any sweat of sending its troops in numbers to fight Alshabaab. Somali people appreciate Kenya, if they didn't why did they flock to the Kenyan border or why are the smuggled into the Kenyan Refugee camps. If they hate Kenya so much, why not escape to Ethiopia, Eritrea in large numbers. It is safer to get asylum in Kenya cz there is peace in Kenya. Many Somalia people are even against the Kenya repatriation program cz they appreciate and feel safer in Kenya. Others are even all over Kenya doing business and learning. Guess where? KENYA institutions that you claim they 'Hate'. Let's get real, Once Britain and Norway get their hands on Somalia, It will mostly enrich the foreigners.

      @@charlibravo371 What billion of dollars? I think you confusing the invasión of USA in the 90's with Kenya. There was an initiative in the 2010s to block and cut off the flow and supply of Arab money into Somalia to fund Alshabaab and most of these officials had bank accounts in Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea. Between Ethiopia and Eritrea one of them didn't comply and was seen as supporting terrorism. I remember you had to go through a thorough check process for anyone transacting more than a million shillings in Kenyan banks. The charcoal ordeal, Kenyan guys in collaboration with Somalia officials had a deal in taking such a resource in Somalia. But only Somalia can get itself back if they stop hiding the terrorists. The leaders should focus more on empowering its communities that is where the freedom starts. The foreigners are not for Somalia

      @Packetrackit 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Again I understand, but I’m sure you’re well aware of what is happening in Tigray right? These countries have been in turmoil for decades and the only refuge they got is Kenya. And honestly I think they’re pushing it more as because of the maritime dispute. If we keeping it a buck it’s some personal vendetta against Somalia. And securing our borders I mean that’s a pretty valid reason. All I’m saying is there has to be another way. At the end of the day they’re not all to blame for the attacks in Kenya. It’s a small number of bad hombres, how about we give them identification badges, that way we can root out the terrorists and let the other folks stay. America has the same issues as well and it wold be wrong to just turn all those immigrants away Nó? We have to find a better suited solution for both parties u feel me. But that’s just me. I understand it’s not a black and white issue but hopefully we make the right choice
