- Tomorrow would never come for me, as my heart would always be There.
(yeah, I kinda regret not blogging any of it but that didn't really cross my mind until it was too late. plus to show anything would require extensive censoring, so just enjoy a few pictures I guess. Also sorry for the wait, I took too long editing this one)
Your story is so wholesome! I don't know anything about doujin music but you sound passionate
Visiting the Comic Market has also been a massive dream of mine so it was nice hearing your experience. I hope I'm able to go at some point.
I highly recommend it since it's a much different experience than the anime conventions most non-Japanese fans are more familiar with. There's a stronger sense of camaraderie and community despite being such a large event.
I also was there. I met a lot of artists, some pretty famous
thank u for droppin this masterpiece for me on black history month u so considerate bro♡♡ #jyodan
eye opening, ear attuning even
congrats on finally making it
thx
Cool i was refreshing your channel just now
Nah you just need literal confidence. When talking to Japanese venders
Old as hell video but this really comes off as hey guy's l am one of you not one of those filthy stupid foreigners which is just going in blind.
Amazing you could just talk to Japanese people, even though I'm N1 I'd be way too fucking nervous to talk to anyone. Shows that speech and comprehension are different skills.
I probably have the Japanese proficiency of a child but I kept telling myself "this is the only chance you'll have to practice speaking." It also helps knowing even if I screwed up I'll never see these people again. I'm a baka gaijin anyways so who cares how they see me.
Though some folks were rather receptive, like this one shopkeeper in Harajuku that was interested in how I learned Japanese.
