I don’t know if you know this but you can make a great butter chicken sandwich. For that, when you make the makhani gravy (after blending), make the finishing touches and reduce it allowing the water to evaporate. You can reduce the cream. Shred the tandoori chicken. In a toasted bread, put some mint mayo (mint chutney plus mayo - very common in India), some pickled onions, shredded chicken and the makhani sauce on top. Add greens if u want. Its a great sandwich. People have modified the tandoori recipe to make it into a batter allowing you to make fried tandoori-flavored chicken plus makhani sauce - fried butter chicken sandwich.
That sounds incredible.

Kewra water is similar to rose water. Its contribution is mainly aromatic and too much can easily go from being a subtle balancing note to making everything seem like an overpowering perfume. It is most noticeable in Biryani

@@ChefBrianTsao btw the cheese ranveer used wasnt paneer it was amul cheese which is just a brand of cheddar and its salty. U dont use paneer in butter chicken cos paneer burns and doesnt melt

1 4lb chicken, whole
10lbs butter.
Season butter with chicken, bake at 350f for 1hr, season butter with a few baked potatoes. Serve.

At 15:38 You did a blunder by adding fenugreek as it would make the gravy bitter. You misunderstood Ranveer's instruction... Methi means fenugreek which is "seed" but "Kasoori methi" is dried leaves and not bitter... Kasoori Methi adds unique aroma to gravy without being bitter.....
Now it's time to Step up, Search for his "Nihaari/Nahari" Recipe, that is just Mind-blowing. And if you can try to recreate it, that will be the bestest dish you will have in your entire life. ❤

The compound in the garlic breaks down in the presence of garlic's protease and other enzymes, and that's not a substitute,for the freshly prepared one😢

Shahi jeera (Elwendia persica = Bunium persicum) tastes simmilar to Jeera (cumin, Cuminum cyminum), sometimes is referred to as "black cumin" (but that can be various things including Nigella, unrelated plant from different family used in bakery etc.). Names of these are frequently messed up online, even with mixed pictures. Other simmilar worth mentioning are Caraway (Carum carvi), Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi, tastes like thyme), Radhuni (Trachyspermum roxburghianum), Anise (Pimpinella anisum) and Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
Celery (Apium graveolens) and Lovage (Levisticum officinale) seed pods are used too, however not overusing them is advisable.
Also always be aware that Hemlock (Conium maculatum) seed pods are very simmilar and extremely poisonous.

I hope you guys used Indian bay leaf and not Mediterranean bay leaf. They look similar but taste very different. Also, Frenchie's chicken looks phenomenal. I could devour that whole chicken.

I'm not exactly sure if I'm right or not, but I think there's a mistake due to miscommunication. The Fenugreek Chef Ranveer used is roasted dry Fenugreek leaves powder. While by the looks of it, it seemed like you used roasted Fenugreek seeds powder. It will make a huge difference in taste if you mix up both.

i'll be honest, y'all keep talking about how dreamy he is, but Ranveer brar makes this brown woman kinda uncomfortable
I know it's chefs recipe so it should taste great but I feel the gravy should have been cooked more to intensify the flavour...or u can Caramalise onions a bit before adding tomato's and then boil it with spices.. Tbh it felt like tanddorri chicken mixed with indianised pizza sause.. I could be wrong.. May be it tastes good but I still feel it lacks some flavoures for sure
