A beagle is a beagle as long as it's pure bred. The coat color is just that the coat color. Once people realize that. Hopefully they will stop thinking non traditional coat colors mean it's not a beagle.

The blue tick is 100% a pure bred colored and is listed on the akc registery. It is a very popular hunting strand color vs show dog blood being predominantly tried color.

Some of the greatest AKC registered field champion beagles are bluetick. It is a very dominant color in blood strands associated with hunting. While tricolor still is the show ring dominant. They are definitely not pocket beagles. Multitude of 13 and 15 bloodlines.

There is also Russian hound..there are a lot of harriers. I grew up with the traditional tri color in both 13 inch and 16 Inch variety. In 2008 I had my 1st chocolate beagle 13 Inch m for the last 2 years I have been breeding 13 inch lemon beagles. One day I would like to get the Blue that some call silver and some call lilac. But for now my hands are full with my one pair of lemons

I will always have a beagle. Crickett has amber eyes and of course the brown nose. Her big sister is Bella, a shepherd mix. Both are spoiled but Crickett is the most spoiled. I love my girls.

Yes bro, and blue beagles become ordinary tricolor with black tan and white when they reached their adult size, but then, they still have blue reflection on the sun :)

True. A real way to tell if it's purebred is if it has a white dipped tail. If not then it's probably a mix
