Excellent video, I've been gifted a Knitmaster 328 the carraige was siezed, and I've cleaned and freed that, now to learning how to use it. I'll check out your other videos for inspiration.

Oh this is great thank you! I've never machine knitted other than the circular ones but I've just acquired a 360 and a 328 and will probably just keep one, looks like I will have at least one goodun to start with 😁

Incredibly helpful. I just have come back to machine knitting and have struggled with a brand new Silver reed. Bought a 360, which I had before and it is so sweet. I'm going to get the Silver Reed fully serviced, as I am so totally fed up with having to do adjustments to the really stiff carriage and it constantly dropping stitches.

Excellent video!!!!! All these machines were/are made by Silver Reed under different names depending on the market/country. I thought that my machine had issues, but after watching this video that 700 Carriage is a smoother running carriage than the 360. I have the 360 needle bed with both carriages, the 360 and the 700 knitting carriages, and is exactly as you say here, the 700 carriage is a joy to use and so smooth!!!! So I am using the 360 needle bed with the 700 carriage, and it is really a good combination, and it is also very smooth with the SRP-50 ribber. Something similar happens with the lace carriages, the LC-2 carriage runs smoother than the original LC 360/260 carriage, so I sold the 360/260 and stayed with the LC-2. Now, this was just perfect. I’m a novice with arthritic elbows and I now know which machine to go for. I’m wondering whether the 700 is good for lace, also?

Hello i'm just wondering how i could do own pattern without card with model 360, maybe i should turn needles own my own. Do you know what is the needles position when it understand to read another color? Is the B position for A port and what is for B if i want to do with 2 color?
Good question on any machine other than knit master hand selection to upper work ING position would work. Knitmaster the drums are what does the cleverness so I think it would be manipulation of those that would work.
I have many of these pieces at home, can I sell them?
