Man that looks like serious fun Tom..Ive loved getting wet and dirty splashing thru the warm water tidal pools in these past few days..coming back home looking more like something thats been just dug out of the sand.
Haha, yeah, it's all fun and games until you remember that you forgot to bring a change of clothes and then have to go straight to work with wet sandy underwear and socks because you work evenings. Did you get a GoPro?
@@RedSkyHorizon :)..no havent bothered with a go pro yet..im letting my lad get creative with his iphone first..lets see what he can do...sand is everywhere now these days..in my car, shoes, socks..etc etc..sand has become a fact of life :) Do you still buggy in winter or not so much?
@@paulwolstenholme1673 Having your own personal cameraman trumps owning a gopro any day. Summertime is considered by most buggy riders as the down season with it being too busy with often low winds. If I can get out during the summer then yeah it's great. Warm tidal pools, two tides during daylight hours, and long evening sessions. Autumn and spring are probably the best for us, the wind starts to pick up and it's still mild, but for me personally, winter storms are what it's all about. Empty beaches, high wind, and fast runs.
@@RedSkyHorizon I'm starting to understand and appreciate what you said months ago when I was first starting out about being a meteorologist. Thanks, David. Yeah, I know! I couldn't get upwind fast enough to retrace my steps. Kept thinking someone had picked it up. Horrible feeling. Hope you're well and doing alright.
Looks like you have had a good time tom, I've been out on my kite buggy for the first time today since I bought it and even though the wind wasn't very good I had a really good time😀 here's to more windy days
Nice one! 👍 Sounds like you have already mastered the correct attitude that all seasoned buggy riders must possess, blaming it on the wind 😂 You should record your first few attempts so you can look back on them and see how far you've progressed. What buggy did you buy?
@@matthewcreasey5733 Good choice of buggy. Light, strong, and easily transportable. Hope the wind is better for you next time. Keep me updated on your progress. Cheers
Hi tom, well it was bit windy in the end we used a 1.8m 2 line kite with the buggy but wasn’t confident with the bigger kites we had … I think it was 26mph winds. We had some good runs tho although wind direction wasn’t as good as it could of been and ended having to go diagonal across the beach but good fun :) we are going again Sunday 💥enjoy your day
@@RedSkyHorizon just getting over a nasty tooth infection but other than that I'm great thanks...yes I will definitely be heading down in the near future..had a nice session at greatstone a little while ago 👍
@@RedSkyHorizon yes it wasn't good.. had a very nasty fever for a couple of days..thankfully the antibiotics got it just in time.. the offending tooth has gone now..so a little rehabilitation and I'm ready to go.. whoop whoop ..lol
Hey gringo, hope you're keeping well. I'm giving away my Peter Lynn KiteCat if you want it? I noticed that you expressed some interest on extremekites back in 2015 haha. If not no problems, I will post it up on Popeyes facebook forsale section.
nice one Tom!!!! didn.t spot this earlier..
