What a unique castle but the countryside is just beautiful. Wow, those rabbit holes could be a problem if you stepped in one! I adore stone fences, so pretty. Enjoyed the wildlife photos at the end.

Yeh I love that I can get to places like this quickly although wish I lived close to the Lake District as that’s my fav spot but takes over one hour to get there

Funny enough I am going here on Thursday, sick of waiting for some decent Lakeland weather and no video for Sunday, so thought about a local hike and remembered the Castle at Bowes. Never seen a video of it before so quite surprised when I did a search and found quite a few but still it looks a great little walk and the way the weather is, just about right too. Cheers Alan

Mill Gill is the name of the falls there. I think there are remains of an old stone bridge there but not sure about anything else that used to be there. Thanks a lot for watching 😁😁

A really nice walk this one, loved seeing the castle but just to be sat down by that river for a while would of been perfect, I agree the GoPro isn’t great for picking stuff up in the distance, and it’s rubbish in low light conditions too lol, great photos at the end Catch you on the next one mate x
