Nice one, this is one of the most iconic concerts, I saw them in vancouver, canada a couple months before this show.. so many good songs from this show, master of puppets, battery, seek and destroy just to name a few
Well, Avenged Sevenfold were inspired by Metallica. That's why you may hear some similarities. Metallica inspired a lot of musicians over the course of their 30+ years of existence
You really need to check out Enter Sandman and Creeping Death live in Moscow 1991. The official crowd count is 1.6 million people, estimated closer to 2.3 million with 54 deaths.
Check out the songs Leper Messiah and Disposable Heroes both studio and live from any concert. When I saw Metallica in May of ‘89 in Anchorage while I was stationed up there at Ft Richardson, one of their overhead speakers caught on fire. It was insane
check out Classic Metallica with Cliff Burton, Roskilde Festival, Hammerfest or the Ozzy Tour. those were the gigs not commercially available except for Cliff em All unfortunately, the Seattle's the most available one thats why its popular.. but the one's with Cliff were represented Classic Metallica and its the gold standard
The other guitarist you saying you should known their names know🤣 James is the singer and rhythem guitar player and Kirk is lead Lars drums and in this live Jason plays the base
Cool reaction! You should react to fade to black live in nimes 2009 by them. Song is about anti suicide and can definitely bring you to tears it’s absolutely beautiful. They are pretty old during 2009 but still sounded so good. Same band just different bassist
@sadsadsa asadasd yeah I always find it hard to focus and hear the music in live recordings with the audience and audio quality so I always stick to the studio recordings
James Hetfield's main guitar back then was an ESP Explorer. Its like a triangle and a smaller triangle connected at opposite ends. Now a days he plays Les Paul's, Flying V's and his trusty Explorer.
This is an epic song that should not be taken lightly,, but should be talked about,,, so dive in,, amdake sure to listen to it several times,, while I'm differnt mind sets,, cuz yeah,, this one has very deep meaning,,,, welcome to the sanitarium 👍👍
Nice reaction. :) You should watch some Metallica shows from 2022. They are still rocking. Just check the Metallica TH-cam page, and you will find many shows to choose from. Have a nice day. Cheers.
I'm probably in the minority, but for this song in particular, I prefer the album version over the live. The sound mixing, speed, and production are better. It's prolly just because I spent many years listening to the album before I got to see them live, so that's what I expect. Either way, great song, great band, great reaction!
Awesome reaction you 2👌..just a quick comment on being woken up Metallica are okay for that...but if you Really want to transcend can I request yous have a listen to Pink Floyd " Comfortably Numb Live from Pulse Concert 1994...not sure if yous have heard them before but highly recommended them..Once you hear them there's no turning back. Quick note...Do not pause the David Gilmore solos. 💯💯%🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The downpicking after that leave me the fuck alone was so fast now I know why people call James hetfield the God of downpicking ❤🤯 It was so damn heavy🔥
Fade to black is a must! th-cam.com/video/TE2rttpvsHY/w-d-xo.html Please react to this live performance. This live version has some heavy emotions to it specially behind the scenes with the band. There second bassist Jason was waiting to venture out to release some of his creativity in a side project that front man James did not approve. Basically right before this performance James told Jason it's your side project or your out the band and this was the bassist last performance with the band. Knowing the back story you can see and feel the body language it was emotional
@@fastertove really thats my favorite live version. Maybe that's why no one reacts to it 🤔 Idk I really like the tone and the timing on it. It's a little slower in the beginning and larz drives the rhythm right into his double kick section and just takes off into the end of song.
@@4x4rambam Don't know how to describe it but the bass is off, like they have boosted the bass or something. Might just the the quality of the video, dunno. My favorite Metallica song, so I definitely agree that a reacting is needed.
The crowd is so loud ,, bcuz they all know the song,, and it has been around for many years,,, do some research,, metalica started out as teen agers in 1994,, and still sell out major venues🤘🤘🤘🤘
Every song from that show was pure brutality, you can check for whom the bells tolls, battery, and justice for all or any it’s all fire!!!
The Thing That Should Not Be is the best from this show.
Nice one, this is one of the most iconic concerts, I saw them in vancouver, canada a couple months before this show.. so many good songs from this show, master of puppets, battery, seek and destroy just to name a few
Saw them 2x on this tour was overseas getting ready for Grenada in 90 was HELL ON EARTH

as everyone is saying, you could watch every performance from this concert, and they're all amazing. One of the best shows you'll see from them.
This is the best concert in history

Check out 'Blackened' - seattle 89. It's fire! All songs of that show are fire actually :D
For another great live performance, try Enter Sandman in Moscow on the 1991 Monsters of Rock tour. Unbelievable crowd.
react on master of puppets at this live '89

Recommend Metallica " Justice for all" Live Seattle 89 y "The thing that shot not be " live Seattle 89.

React to some of the new live performances by them, they are amazing!
Live in Mexico is insanely good
I saw Metallica in 2017 and Avenged Sevenfold opened for them
Nice reaction. :) You should watch some Metallica shows from 2022. They are still rocking. Just check the Metallica TH-cam page, and you will find many shows to choose from.

What is rusev day?
Oh shit my bad,, typo, 1984🤘🤘🤘 try to catch up kids,, gen x grew up on this, shit,, and yeah,, welcome to the club my friends
You should add Sanitarium to the title because that's what everyone actually calls it! 👍
Watch Neil Peart from Rush do a drum solo. Now, that's a drum set lol.
You really have to listen to Metallica live if you can, their just so much better that way 🤘
ANYTHING live in Moscow '91 is way better quality than this concert
Like
One of my favorites other than the thing that should not be.
Greatest band in history!
The downpicking after that leave me the fuck alone was so fast now I know why people call James hetfield the God of downpicking ❤🤯
It was so damn heavy🔥
Yes please do master of puppets from this show. The first 4 albums do not do James’ vocals justice. He was so much better live
Fade to black is a must! th-cam.com/video/TE2rttpvsHY/w-d-xo.html
