I worked very hard to create this interactive audiobook format and graciously appreciate Bitcoin donations.
After wanting to read the original Bitcoin Whitepaper, I discovered there wasn't a good audiobook version of it with graphs and formulas. So I went ahead and made it, using a slower reading speed so a viewer can try and take it all in.
I have no affiliation with bitcoin.org or Satoshi Nakamoto.

In November 2008, a paper was posted on the internet under the name Satoshi Nakamoto titled Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. This paper detailed methods of using a peer-to-peer network to generate what was described as "a system for electronic transactions without relying on trust". In January 2009, the Bitcoin network came into existence with the release of the first open source Bitcoin client and the issuance of the first bitcoins, with Satoshi Nakamoto mining the first block of bitcoins ever (known as the "genesis block"), which had a reward of 50 bitcoins. The value of the first bitcoin transactions were negotiated by individuals on the bitcointalk forums with one notable transaction involving a 10,000 BTC pizza.
"Satoshi Nakamoto" is a pseudonym for the unknown person or people who designed the original Bitcoin protocol in 2008 and launched the network in 2009. Nakamoto was responsible for creating the majority of the official Bitcoin software and was active in making modifications and posting technical information on the BitcoinTalk Forum.[73]

I did notice one interesting point in the abstract at the beginning. Satoshi states in a point about double spending , He uses the term "We" instead of "I'. It says "We propose a solution to the double spending problem" The mystery continues ten years on . Love your work

We is a commonly used pronoun in professional and academic writing. I would not read too much into "we" versus "I" in the context of the Bitcoin whitepaper.
We know now that there are 4 people that make up Satoshi Nakamoto. The NSA met with them years ago to find out what their purpose was.
I'm glad someone made an audiobook attempt. It's pretty good but people should make more with a variety of voices and voice styles. Cheers

Quite an original piece of work. I came across that document years ago, but I didn't think people would want to be involved in that. I thought the idea would die out before the coin gains any significant value. Lack of regulation and probably lack of complete understanding of the coin's functionality prevented me from buying it when bitcoin was still inexpensive. Later there were scandals of exchanges going out of business and people losing their coins. That further solidified my idea of staying away from bitcoin. It turned out, the bitcoin was one of the most lucrative investments in our lifetime. Oh well, I'm crawling back under a rock!

Hi guys, quick question here. Why is the word "We" instead of "I" used by Satoshi in the abstract?
We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network.
Is Satoshi referring to himself along with Martii Malmi and/or other early public contributors? Or is Satoshi acknowledging/hinting that Satoshi Nakamoto is multiple people?
A bunch of holders pretending they understood all of this. Simply having the coin does not make you smarter when it comes to tech. So please spare everyone. That being said, still seems like a revolutionary idea.
What word stands out in this sentence of the Introduction......

I’m just wondering how the miners will be rewarded after all the Bitcoin is mined? According to the white paper, miners are rewarded with Bitcoin, but after the Bitcoin is all mined, what then? Will attackers be able to comprise the system if no one is being rewarded for mining?
satoshi hopes the fact they still run after all mined will stay loyal to the mining

why am i paying transaction fees if mining is supposed to cover it?
the fees are what pays the miners. that's the whole point of mining: use your pc components to solve equations for the crypto transaction in exchange of some of the cryptocurrencies, which are paid by the people who make transactions, called gas fees

Satoshi Nakamoto is not a single person. I think a group of people behind this work. They are use “we” in many places instead of “ i “
That's because the cypherpunks were working on digital money for many years before this. "We" refers to the distributed discussions held primarily on the cypherpunk mailing list. Nakamoto was also in private email correspondence with Adam Back and Hal Finney, who had already created previous versions that failed. The evidence of these emails points to Satoshi Nakamoto being one person.
In my personal opinion, a group of people could not have created something simple and elegant because people in groups serve their egos more than the group's goal.
