    This was Extremely helpful Anthony 🙏. I have a lot of plates up there spinning. But I have not even scratched the surface of enhancing my memory yet, and the Pi study has opened up my mind to what is possible, but also how many holes I need to plug🤔. And this does not put me off, quite the opposite, it excites me🤩. I love all these subjects you are pushing yourself to absorb. It is all very inspiring!! And your new book on Bruno will definitely find its way into my hands🥳.
    Have an Awesome magnetic day buddy!😜

    Awesome video Dr Anthony! Will you add geometry to the math section in your online course? I would love to tackle that someday.

      Thanks for checking this one out.
      Actually, I just use everything in that course. But I will add an update eventually showing the use of memorized geometrical shapes as Memory Palaces unto themselves to remember the shape names.
      Maybe in 2024, though much focus needs to remain on the Memory Detective Jr. books and the Bruno book revision. For now, I'm confident anyone versed in mnemonics could use the math course to rapidly memorize just about anything related to geometry.
      Geo = earth, metry = measurement. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. ;-)

    You mentioned that you are learning Geometry, I'm currently studying for the ACT, and let's just say it's been years since I graduated high school, could you share a few tips on how you're approaching geometry? I guess I'm having a bit of trouble in understanding how I can approach math with a mind palace. Although I had considered using a story book "palace" where each major idea is a kingdom, and each topic is a knight/king etc. with specific attributes.

    • @AnthonyMetivierMMM
      @AnthonyMetivierMMM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great that you’re taking action in your studies.
      The basics are to get a solid textbook, read it thoroughly, use the Memory Palace and using a mental field to study the various constructions. Some of them can easily be used as Memory Palaces unto themselves.

    Hey Anthony first of all I seen that you reply to every comment and really appreciate the great work consistently, and i want to ask that like that first part that I am facing is making mind palaces of some facts or we can say some reasoning questions in chemistry they have these uncommon words used let me give you an example of a typical thing that I am doing
    "Enthalpy of atomization depends on the number of unpaired electrons in the valence shell greater the number of valence electrons stronger is the resultant bonding and the higher will be enthalpy of atomization in 3D series"
    I know these words contain uncommon words and it is tough to make mind palace of each and every word that is important so how I can do this can you please give me an example so that on the basis of it I can create something good
    And also till now I have tried making mind palaces and it is working quite good but my mind palace have like every time different story different story on every object so are they good like can I retain that like 15 or 20 days then I can manage to revise them?

    • @AnthonyMetivierMMM
      @AnthonyMetivierMMM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for this.
      I actually don't really use stories that much. I tend to use Magnetic Imagery instead, which is all based on using the full Magnetic Memory Method.
      So my example for Enthalpy could be one of several options. There was a band called ENT, enten is German for duck, or I might use Einstein.
      Hal is a fairly common name, so maybe Hal Ashby. And then of course the ending makes it pretty clear what he should be doing. ;-)
      It's quite easy, but you need to setup your systems first. So that is what I suggest you do:
      26 Memory Palaces and at least 1 image per letter of the alphabet for starters.

    Good points. My own opinion is that you cannot teach anyone anything. Instead I like to think of it as allowing others to learn from you, as they are the ones that draw in the information. I am not sure in today's world of many shallow wells, that the interest in learning vs having an app to reference. Of course mnemonics can also be applied to even this in unique ways. I do totally agree that taking memory mnemonic techniques out of the stunt arena and applying it to real learning is much more interesting. AI has pushed the concept of quick recall to the forefront, but it's limited to popular answers while memory can find the obscure in the noise that ai cannot find and this is something the masters understood.

    • @AnthonyMetivierMMM
      @AnthonyMetivierMMM  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great points.
      I would only say that on one level, I have certainly been taught things by other people. Without authors to craft signals that cut through the noise, I would be nowhere. And those kind enough to make sure I learned the alphabet above all have earned their due.

      Thanks so much for asking about Vitamin X.
      I'm about 1/2 done the fourth version of it now.
      I don't know exactly when it will be available because once the full final version is done, I'll let it sit for at least 6 weeks to go edit my Bruno book.
      Then there will be an unknown period of doing the layout for Vitamin X... that could take a few weeks or a few months depending.
      So maybe... mid-2024? Hopefully sooner, but I think that's the most realistic basic estimate.
      Any themes you'd like to see covered in one of the Memory Detective novels?
