Iron Man 3 is actually my favorite MCU movie I’ve always hated how it gets a bad rap because of the Mandarin twist. But honestly can you imagine how amazing it would have been if Ben Kingsley had been the actual Mandarin he’s performance during the fake propaganda/videos are phenomenal especially the line delivery of “Ready for another lesson.” and “The braves were away.”
Those propaganda videos were genuinely chilling thanks to him, even if they turned out to be just acting. Still, it eventually led to a great actual Mandarin performance from Tony Leung in the future, so it all worked out!
