This would be so bad. F1 Manager 24 is one of the best F1 games ever. They Improved so much from 22 to now. Losing this game series would be such a shame
If anything, Frontier can take what they have learned making the F1 manager series, and make a real successor to Motorsport Manager. Imagine a modern Motorsport manager that has an affiliate system where you can create a junior academy, assign them to personal training, assisting in car development, or send some out to work with sponsors for additional income, and actually have the power to sign them up for different racing series. And unlike F1 manager, where you are limited to F3 to F1, this successor title will have those 3 tiers of open wheel racing, and the addition of an Indycar-expy series, GT racing series, Endurance series, and Karting series. Of course, they can take the more expensive method of allowing you to play as all those racing series, or do what Open Wheel Manager 2 did and only focus on the F1-expy series while simulating the others.
Make a new motorsport manager would work for me. Some people actually prefer the non-licenced stuff so they can make their own story about it, like they were able to do in Motorsport Manager.

I absolutely love F1 Manager, but lets not pretend like its not just as buggy lmao. Cars still go through walls at Suzuka, the games contracts didnt work right for over a month, and now apparently the pit lane starts are bugged.
What’s kind of ironic is that the cost of the license is a cause to this being cancelled and this game is a gateway in to the F1 scene for many people such as myself which potentially leads to more money than they would receive from the license. I had zero interest in F1 prior to playing this game and now I’m going to be watching my first F1 race this coming weekend.

It's quite simple. Manager games are an even smaller niche than racing games. I could imagine that Liberty Media, in its naivety, expected similar sales for the manager game as for the racing game. And Frontier is not a huge studio with endless resources...
yh i just seen an article about that update 1.9 and they think it was intended for 25 and they knew that isnt happening so they just release it now. kinda makes more sense as i never knew a game i play that releases an update containg new features
It's important to note that this is NOT yet confirmed, for now it is just a rumour that was pulled from a Frontier based financial report on the F1 manager series (Written by Zeus Research and Technology, published in September of 2024).
tbf game is somewhat complete, it can live off of mods if they open it for modding more, maybe if they can put up more FOM cars into the game it would be great
I'm not really surprised by this. For me they did focus to much on managing the races instead of managing the f1 team. Micro Managing the races did not feel great for me. They improved it over the years and this year you could thankfully simulate the races, but still felt like there are major things missing I expected from a F1 Manager Game.
We need to spread the word so it gets to frontier, maybe there's something they can do, even for a DLC or something like that so the game can get a last massive update going into next year, and maybe future proof it a bit more. It'll be interesting to see if someone figures out how to add more radio messages and face scans to update the driver market, because that's the one thing that could make a big difference in playing this next year
Abt the message to EA, I actually have had messages abt silly season in the game, however after the next season the most driver transfers there were was about 2, with Yuki going to Ferrari and I go to Aston and both Sainz and Stroll go to RB. I think more chaotic and more surprising driving transfers like how the manager games do it would be more fun, but also think it'd be nice if they renovated the messages system in F1 racing games to make it more lively, like as the season nears it's closing you'd get messages of potential driver transfers in the photo with all teams along their drivers the same we see people put collages of next seasons drivers and teams they're in on social media, making it feel more lively and more connected to the community I think would make it better for people playing ((and of course fix the actual racing as driving trains are so much of a problem in 24, but I think they're well aware by that now.))
Yea it makes sense with the update they just released. It seems like they just released what plans they had for next year with this recent update and called it a day.
If there aren’t any f1 manager next year you should try automation it has a really nerdy and realistic side and you can do any motor and car you want and even import them on beam ng and i rly think you would love it (ofc i know it isn’t a manager game and there is no battle for a title but you could make some kind of championship between the cars with lap time for example). I rly am sad they are stopping f1 manager 😢
Might they keep releasing unlicensed Racing Management Games? Maybe, at least, for that supoosed F1 Manager 25, they might release a "Racing Manager 25", with unlicensed drivers, teams and tracks. Might it be possible? And maybe, thanks to not depending on the license, they have more freedom in terms of mechanics and things to include in the game, making it way more popular, which may motivate them to keep releasing unlicensed racing management games, something we haven't never seen
If it happens the certainly brought it on themselves, lack of cohesion over the first couple of games completely killed the early momentum they had going and really created a divide that has yet to be mended.
Personally I feel like they should do bi yearly releases and you can choose what year you want to start in when the 2nd calendar year of the game comes out
I feel the only way an F1 manager game will work if its made like old championship manager or football manager styles. With the majority of the gameplay just on menu screens and the races being a 2d top down low graphic race you watch. I think that way is a lot better and then use car setup and upgrades as a way like tactics on football manager (really in depth and satisfying if you get right). Reduces costs massively, with little need for animation and graphics.
I honestly think a new game every year is just a money grab move, when you have a good base game like manager 24, the 25 season could be just a features update with DLC for the 25 season cars and liveries, I find it wasteful and a money grab for a new games for every new season for a sport, unless they are changing fundemental aspects of the game like mechanics or game engine only then would it warrant a new game
that would be great but they can’t pay off license and profit with yearly release let alone with dlcs which can’t be justified at 60$ price for 10 new car models and liveries
Why does it need an annual release? The idea is that you play through multiple seasons in one game. I'd happily download an update each year and continue my career mode. Then buy the new game every 2-3 years. F1 Manager 24 is a great game and well worth a purchase! How much can you really add to justify buying a new version every 12 months? 22-23 was pretty much the same game!
Ahh man this would be a shame 😕 I’ve always enjoyed your manager videos and although I played a lot of motorsport manager, it’s the first F1 manager game that I’ve played and I’ve really enjoyed it!
Has been the perfect series for me to watch in breaks at work and at any opportunity. Having my own save on Xbox, I love picking the game up when I get home too. Really hope it can continue or there’s some form of continuation for Xbox in 25
So really what we need is an F1 game and an F1 Manager game with no licenses involved, basically full "MyTeam" iterations of the games, but with mod support so people can ADD the licensed teams without breaking any laws. Each would be a project for the ages without a huge team of competent people to work on them, but I'd wager the F1 gaming community is determined enough, smart enough and resourceful enough to make it work if there's some leadership that can keep everyone pointed in a direction, just like any normal game studio.
I feel the most for the devs. It’s clear that they love what they’re doing and are pouring their hearts into this, with such detail and quality content. I get this suspicion that FOM and EA have flexed their monopoly and elbowed Frontier out for making the official F1 game look bad. If so, it’s really sad to see such a heartless two-faced betrayal against Frontier
I have literally never had any interest in the F1 Manager games until I started watching your gameplay of it. Now I want every single F1 Manager game. Waiting until payday so I can buy it. All thanks to your videos. It just looks so much fun.
Yeah I was gonna say during the other video you made about the Updates. I think they might just transform this game into just F1 Manager in which they might keep adding the new cars. As well as updates to the base game.
If EA implement features in F1 24 we all know how it'll go. Broken all year, sell the same game next year pretending it's fixed, only half fixed and the first patch makes it worse than it was the year before. I'm not sure I want that. I'd rather have the F1 game disappear and keep F1 manager, which is better and better every year and doesn't treat its fanbase as cows to milk with false promises every two weeks.
I HOPE this is so they don't have to do yearly anymore, just do actual good games with new features once every couple years with at least 2 seasons per game.
I sure hope this isn't the case, they're the only game providing competition to EA's garbage F1 games. If they are gone, then we'd be stuck with F1 25 which will surely be just as cullcrap as F1 24
Looking at the Steam page, you can usually estimate sales from the number of reviews and, well, there's nowhere near enough to make a profit on that game. I'm not surprised it's been canned. Guess I'll have to pick up Golden Lap instead.
I am absolutely gutted and heartbroken to hear that the manager games may be cancelled. This game is by far the best F1 game of the year. The EA games are just getting worse each year while the manager games are so good. I totally agree with you Aarav this is such a shame and if EA don't wake up and make a banger of a game next year I fear F1 games are toast. I have literally only play 4 races in driver career in season 1 in F1 24 and stopped playing because of the ridiculous DRS/ERS trains which still aren't fixed. This is a disaster if it's true.
If true, and i can totally see why it is; it’s really sad. Frontier have added just the right amount to keep year in year players interested, while not over complicating things too much for new player. BUT its a harsh reality that this will never have the reach of Football manger/championship manager. If it turns out that this is it….. bring on the mods!!!!
I think its important to note that this Reddit poster that all this news is coming from does not have a lot of credibility so it's very possible this isn't the end for F1 Manager. I can certainly see it ending though unfortunately especially with the update which honestly felt like a new game in ways. It is quite possible though that If there isn't a new game we might get more sizable updates in the future so at least we will hopefully have that to look forward to. At the very least, at least with this update and the last one, if this is the end, it's ending on a high so we shall see what happens from here. Here's hoping it isn't the end.
It would be such a shame not to have an F125. In 2030 on the last season before I switch to the worst ranked car and try to beat the absurdly good team I created. The longevity is top notch and that reflects on the career mode you have going. It's thoroughly enjoyable so please keep it going!
Player have spent years telling Codies and EA what they want added in the game. Literal years. And we've had nothing. And still, we continue to do their job for them while they ignore us. Everything is wrong about the F1 game, meanwhile the F1 manager games are the exact opposite, new features all the time, increasing quality, amazing support, and it's going to be taken away from us
If they’re not releasing a game next year to release a better game in 2026 then that’s a massive win. Yearly releases aren’t a good thing (although I do sympathise for your specific position where they’re very helpful to the channel)
I will be gutted if it's true I love the game especially since they lowered the price yes it had a lot of faults but I generally love playing it and the driver engineer radios were my favorite feature hopefully it comes back after a year break
This report combined with a huge gameplay patch is worrying feels like maybe some of the new content for 25 has been brought in early But hopefully this is all wrong!
Wow :( what a shame...keep the manager and discontinue the ea shit...f1 manager always felt like the team is putting so much passion into the game...its such a shame :(
F1 Manager 25 cancelled, FM25 delayed to march, Flight Sim starting shitty, Now only AC Evo needs to be delayed until after the heat death of the universe and its perfect
This sucks they’d really got a winning formula nailed down with 24 but i guess they’re suffering for the rocky launch of 22 and the minor improvements of 23 losing them a notable amount of sales on this years game. If only they’d delayed till they could release a game of the quality of 24 initially I think this series would be doing really well. My only hope they’re cancelling 25 to do 26 instead with more improvements and the excitement of a new era of cars
Decelopers should know not to rush games. F1 manager 2022 shouldnt have released. If they started with 2023 way less people would've wrote it off. 2022 just wasnt fun imo
If that's the case, then we all know the series went out on a high. F1 Manager 24 has been enjoyable to play and enjoyable to watch. So sad that this has to come to this. I will play F1 Manager 24 for many years to come, in the same way I played Motorsport Manager from 2018-2023.
wasn't the original agreement between frontier and F1 to release three games and then for the license to get reassessed for any continual releases thereafter?
I love the f1 manager games, I watch all the videos on it and play it when it's free. As a student I just don't have the income to add another yearly game to my wish list. I would prefer live service or paying a small amount for updated cars and driver lineup.
I’d Be perfectly happy dropping the F1 license but expanding the gameplay. While in Manager 2022 I played Williams for the challenge of worst to first all I really wanted was the make a team. Every other team could be
If this is true then this is very sad! I feel people that hate on it are the ones that done understand it! I cannot stand football manager games but that’s cos I don’t understand them 🤷🏻♂️

It was just getting good...
I hope not ive really enjoyed watching f1 manager and playing even though i only have 22 i am currently saving up for 24
That happen with all good games... in last period. That make me to take that game as unpriceless.
If this happens they should open the game up for steam mods
I wish they make a different motorsport managing game if F1 is out of the question
I will be gutted if it's true I love the game especially since they lowered the price yes it had a lot of faults but I generally love playing it and the driver engineer radios were my favorite feature hopefully it comes back after a year break
Does that mean that there won't be f1 manager 26 or any f1 manager games coming out?
There might not be any
Just as they suprised us all with an update...i hope they at least update 24 and have a dedicated team
This report combined with a huge gameplay patch is worrying feels like maybe some of the new content for 25 has been brought in early
But hopefully this is all wrong!
Wow :( what a shame...keep the manager and discontinue the ea shit...f1 manager always felt like the team is putting so much passion into the game...its such a shame :(
It would be sensational if they can implent multiplayer career mode.
I was waiting for the 2025 game since I only bought the first game and was waiting for it to improve
Maybe that's why they did the content drop
pretty much looks like it
Decelopers should know not to rush games.
At least we can see a 1000 year career mode from Aarav
Me calling you Nigel Mansell upset them so they won't release it. To all the community I'm so sorry
I had a feeling about this when the feature update came out. Like why release all those features unless they aren’t making a new one
😢that would suck I was thinking of getting F1 manager a try this festive season hence I'll be done with school
wasn't the original agreement between frontier and F1 to release three games and then for the license to get reassessed for any continual releases thereafter?
RIP Shed: 2024-2024
I love the f1 manager games, I watch all the videos on it and play it when it's free. As a student I just don't have the income to add another yearly game to my wish list. I would prefer live service or paying a small amount for updated cars and driver lineup.
Fortunately manager games are very replayable. To be honest I don't need new game every year, probably every 2-3 yers would be enough.
I wonder if that’s why the patch came out and they implement the 25 game and upgrades into this one
Literally went out and bought 24 last night 😭
My theory is that they are skipping 2025 to focus on 2026 qnd they might add a feature to F1M24 that lets you manage the 2025 teams & drivers.
really sad f1 manager serie is really cool
I’d Be perfectly happy dropping the F1 license but expanding the gameplay. While in Manager 2022 I played Williams for the challenge of worst to first all I really wanted was the make a team. Every other team could be
It's not over yet
If this is true then this is very sad! I feel people that hate on it are the ones that done understand it! I cannot stand football manager games but that’s cos I don’t understand them 🤷🏻♂️
I’m gutted if this is true.
