When I do laundry for the family I use the little mesh bags for things like bras that have hooks that easily snag on things like sweaters and tear great holes in them.
The mesh bag would be good for everyone's socks! I swear I have a monster in the tumble dryer and it eats socks!! And possibly wanders at night and eat the lids for my Tupperware!! Great video!! L x
I actually only cut my sons nails when he is sleeping. And still do it now that he is 3, after bath time so they are soft. That one works well for my family.
This is the second video of yours that I have watched. I really enjoyed the first so I was a little alarmed with the first hack but after hearing your comments and own opinions on the hacks I can happily watch your videos again! 😊I agree with what you were saying and you seem like a really down to earth, sensible, lovely mum! I'm definitely going to keep watching. Thanks for this fun vid 🙂xx
I love your videos Emily but putting your baby to sleep on it’s front in a sleepyhead just goes completely against safe sleep guidelines and concerns me 😂
i love it when you do these videos! i should be studying right now, but I mean you just uploaded a video so exams or your video, it's a no brainer, I'm now currently watching your video😂 I love you and your channel❤
I used to draw on my babies faces with my finger while I cuddled them. Across the forehead and down the nose. And I would hum "What Child is This?". My Memére used to do that when I was little and I loved it. The nail clipping when they were alseep is something I started with my first and swear by it! If anyone doesn't want zinc on their hands/fingers just wrap a wipe/tissue over your finger then throw away. This way you can feel the amount of pressure you are applying and keep it gentle.
I have been doing the cutting nails thing whilst baby sleeps with all my kids, its the only way! I am going to try the socks in a mesh bag though, my youngest is now 8 months and I am constantly buying new socks to replace the lost ones! Thank you x
Oh my that one with the brush and the baby cream - who would do that! :) Great video, beautiful! Look at how many subscribers you have already, so happy for you! :)
A baby bum brush is made of rubber. Easily cleaned with a wipe, much safer than using your fingers, how much bacteria is on your hand? Do you wash before changing nappies?
When I got a big bag of baby socks I made the mistake to wash all at once and without a mesh bag (that I already had for my bras) and not only did it take forever to find all of the socks, it also took so long to hang them all up. :D Now we just have a mesh bag hanging at the changing table (fixated with a peg) and throw all used socks in. I wouldn't use the first hack either, as you said it's dangerous, they might bite into it and choke or it gets onto their faces and they can't take it off.
Emily Norris omg no 😯 I love you !!!! I'm being serious, I love your videos and the best ever hack was the one where you rolled all the clothes into the socks, with two small children saved me so much space in my nappy bag. I always comment on your videos and I always watch them. My name is Sara just on my partners you tube xxxx
I love the mesh bag hack! My son is due in a few weeks & I've bought 4 mesh bags like in this video for washing & drying his socks, mittens, hats and drool bibs. Hopefully it works and helps not lose any teeny tiny baby items! :-D
good point with the hand glove haha at first i was like thats a great idea ! then when you mentioned all those points i thought hmmm no haha you are so right i love these types of videos !
Love these!!! loveeeeee the sock idea!!! I'm always losing baby socks!!! What the the name of the bag you ordered of amazon? not so sure on the bag one hehe!
Great video Emily!I stroke my daughters face at bedtime, not for long maybe a minute or so but it works every time. I don't use a tissue (she would grab it) but I stroke her with the tips of my fingers and she loves it!! it sends her right off to sleep. Agree that hand is creepy. I suppose it could be nicer if it had some lavender in it too but not sure how safe it would be for a baby. where do people think these things up 😂 probably while they're sleep deprived!
Jacsons face with the tissue lol. The nail clipping is fantastic,Harry is ok with me doing his finger nails at the moment, but constantly screws his feet up which makes me very nervous as his toe nails are tiny. And the mesh bag I will be getting as I'm always losing small socks. Enjoy your holiday,Jackson has never felt the warm sun on him yet. Xx
im 4th. Emily can u do a video on your schedule showing us what u do at what time and how to stick to a schedule. i think u begin ur day quiet early and i really wonder how u do that with three kids. i would love it if u could do videos on 1. how to save time when uv got kids. 2. how to discipline your babies. 3. how to make your baby sleep through the night. 4. how to plan menu for the family and i think ill share the rest of the ideas later hun :-P love u . love to the boys...muaah.
I love watching your videos they are always helpful. From your experience i have a question my daughter just turned 4 months now and still she would wake up every 2 hours or less and wouldn't nap for more than 45 mins max!! I don't know what I am doing wrong
Love the sock one! I was just saying to my friend today I feel like I buy new socks for my little girl every week because they just disappear! 🙈 I'm also going to try the cutting the nails one, she hates having her nails cut too! Great video 😊 x
My mom use to kind of pet our noses up to down and I'm assuming it would relax us and our eye would follow until we could no longer keep them open it's kinda like the tissue trick but less annoying I guess
Love your videos your family looks sharp with stile Question how old was jackson when you cut his nails with a nail caliper I know that on a previous video you did it with your mouth
Thanks I have a 2 month old baby Boy and I fell like its hard to cut with the mouth but ill try the nail caliper on my 6 year old son when he is sleeping just to se how ill work for me by the way I have 3 BOY'S too 9 years ago, 6 years old and the 2 month old ps try the tissue he didn't go to sleep ill try again later
My grandmother taught me the baby sock trick! Ask me if I've bought one yet. 😆Have a wonderful holiday. Would love plane travel tips! Maybe your top three on an Instagram post?
Have done the sock hack before! But I noticed the adult socks weren't drying thoroughly, could be my dryer though:) agree with other comments, you are one of my favourite youtubers!
Haha the hand idea made me laugh. The tissue trick was suggested to me a few times but it didn't make any difference. I better give the nail cutting a go, I struggle to do E's as she's always moving her hands about.
The glove trick actually works, it's based off the theory that they use for preemie babies in the NICU.They have something similar called a frog, but instead of putting it on their back you put it on their legs and lower back. My son is a preemie and loves when the nurses put it on him. I agree that it could be dangerous if used as the baby gets older.
my baby is due next month.. I ve been reading that the baby should always sleep on their back...but on the glove hack jackson was asleep upside down. Is it safe? your videos are sooo informative. you are my fav youtuber and I love you 😍😍😍
So I have a question... I just now saw that your baby sleeps on his tummy and I've also seen other uk vloggers have their babies sleeping like that. I'm from Sweden and here, all the midwives say how important it is that your baby sleep on it's back, to avoid sudden infant death. Haha weird question maybe, but I'm a new mum since just two weeks and I've been terrified of letting my little boy sleep in any other way than on his back, even though he clearly prefers to be on his tummy or even on his side. So yeah, I just wanted to hear what the midwives tell you. Love your videos Emiy, they're so helpful
I've always been taught that babies should sleep on their backs but it's the second video I see where you show your baby sleeping and he's on this side or tummy down. Any particular reason for that? I'm curious :)

You have this genuine positive energy about yourself, really appreciate your efforts.
When I do laundry for the family I use the little mesh bags for things like bras that have hooks that easily snag on things like sweaters and tear great holes in them.
Hands down you are my favourite TH-camr 💘
Thanks Amelia xx
+Emily Norris how do get out red marks from nappies and I love your channel
Amelia Kate omg same her voice is so relaxing
She is my favourite youtuber and love your name.
The mesh bag would be good for everyone's socks! I swear I have a monster in the tumble dryer and it eats socks!! And possibly wanders at night and eat the lids for my Tupperware!! Great video!!
L x
+Lisa Robb 😂😂😂 that cracked me up! So true xx
Our Little Big Family 😂
Our Little Big Family same with us
The same monster eats my pencils. 🤔
Try using a silicone brush to apply the diaper cream! Super easy to wild clean and you don't have to worry about scratching them with a fingernail
Your face when you were looking at the brush with the diaper cream on - PRICELESS!!! Lots of love!
I actually only cut my sons nails when he is sleeping. And still do it now that he is 3, after bath time so they are soft. That one works well for my family.
+it is genius!! Xx Jovan Rachel
The mesh garment bags are also great for washing bras so they don't get tangled or snagged on other laundry.
I bloody loved this one Em! xx
This was a great video !! Love the mesh bag for the socks :) X
So did I it would be great for tights too xx
Loved this Emily! Can't believe anyone would use a makeup brush to apply nappy cream 😂 but taking tin foil on holiday is a great idea x
Kate+ I know so weird right!!!! 😂😂 thanks for watching Hun. Congratulations xx
Baby sock idea in bag was brill!!

i love it when you do these videos! i should be studying right now, but I mean you just uploaded a video so exams or your video, it's a no brainer, I'm now currently watching your video😂 I love you and your channel❤
Ha ha sorry about that but thanks for watching xx

Please do more videos like this,I just love them 🤗
Thank you 😊
Good tips on the mesh bag, def need to get one for my kids socks
I loved that one! Thank you xx
My son was a prem baby, they use the glove in the NICU, for prem babies, it helps them, as they are in the incubator all alone, my boy loved it! x
I just found your channel a week ago and I don't even have a baby anymore(she is 12 now) and no plans for any but I just love all of your videos!
I have been doing the cutting nails thing whilst baby sleeps with all my kids, its the only way! I am going to try the socks in a mesh bag though, my youngest is now 8 months and I am constantly buying new socks to replace the lost ones! Thank you x
It’s Thing from Adams Family who’s a hand. Cousin It was the haystack 😁
I was laughing so much 😂
Really loved this! Think I'd be too scared to try cutting the kids nails in their sleep for fear of waking them up - you're a brave lady! x
I definitely need to get one of those sock bags! 🙋💗
Thanks Ash, it worked xx
Oh my that one with the brush and the baby cream - who would do that! :) Great video, beautiful! Look at how many subscribers you have already, so happy for you! :)

+Darren Smith do I sense sarcasm? Ha ha x
Emily Norris omg no 😯 I love you !!!! This was so fab beauty! I'm definitely going to try the tissue one, I reckon it'll annoy Jenson too though 😂
Jessica Avey maybe it's for newborns? Jackson was looking at me like 'do you mind? I'm tired!' 😂😂😂
I'm not sure about the glove either! I think Jack would probably try and eat it 😂😂😂xxx
Exactly! Seems so strange xx
Great video Emily!I stroke my daughters face at bedtime, not for long maybe a minute or so but it works every time. Will you be doing a haul of what you got in Primark! I'm having shopping withdrawals from trying not to spend in January! 😭😭 xx
It was such a bad outing - I barely bought anything for me. Why is it I always just end up buying for the boys? xx
Baby Jackson is so cute xx
Love the sock one! I was just saying to my friend today I feel like I buy new socks for my little girl every week because they just disappear! 🙈 I'm also going to try the cutting the nails one, she hates having her nails cut too! Great video 😊 x

+Jade Hall Thanks jade xx
My mom use to kind of pet our noses up to down and I'm assuming it would relax us and our eye would follow until we could no longer keep them open it's kinda like the tissue trick but less annoying I guess
I have the baby bum brush that is silicone and looks like a small spatula for applying diaper cream it's super soft and gentle and easy to clean
Really? It felt so unnatural to me xx
I hated having to scrape the cream out from under my nails! lol
Jenna Rohrig if u have long nails i get it but id rather use my hand.lol
Love your videos your family looks sharp with stile
Question how old was jackson when you cut his nails with a nail caliper I know that on a previous video you did it with your mouth
+Yojana Morataya yes I actually still haven't used the cutters but will soon I think cause he moves so much xx
Thanks I have a 2 month old baby Boy and I fell like its hard to cut with the mouth but ill try the nail caliper on my 6 year old son when he is sleeping just to se how ill work for me by the way I have 3 BOY'S too 9 years ago, 6 years old and the 2 month old

+EIMEAR SHERIDAN ha ha I love Pinterest xx
I love you ❤ and you videos 😘 Jackson is so cute 👶
+Madison Johnson Thanks for watching xx
love your mum hacks I have six kids and I find a lot of your hacks are also helpful for my son who is autistic
Haha the hand idea made me laugh. The tissue trick was suggested to me a few times but it didn't make any difference. I better give the nail cutting a go, I struggle to do E's as she's always moving her hands about.
The nail cutting one was amazing! xx
Imma have to try the nails thing since my son is the same way
The glove trick actually works, it's based off the theory that they use for preemie babies in the NICU.They have something similar called a frog, but instead of putting it on their back you put it on their legs and lower back. My son is a preemie and loves when the nurses put it on him. I agree that it could be dangerous if used as the baby gets older.
you can also use water to stick the foil to the window
Wow my 3yo needs pitch black to sleep which sucks when we visit family bc no one else has black out blinds the foil/tape solution is a game changer!!!
my baby is due next month.. I ve been reading that the baby should always sleep on their back...but on the glove hack jackson was asleep upside down. Is it safe? your videos are sooo informative. you are my fav youtuber and I love you 😍😍😍
the tin foil probs makes it look like you're growing some herbs in there
+EmmieHymas x 😂😂😂😂😂 ha never even thought of that now I'm worried xx
How long is your maternity leave?
So I have a question... I just now saw that your baby sleeps on his tummy and I've also seen other uk vloggers have their babies sleeping like that. I'm from Sweden and here, all the midwives say how important it is that your baby sleep on it's back, to avoid sudden infant death. Was just wondering if they say the same to you over there, but about the tummy instead? So yeah, I just wanted to hear what the midwives tell you. Love your videos Emiy, they're so helpful
I agree.. don’t let them sleep on their tummy. It is proven to increase sudden infant death.
where can I get the mesh bag Emily
I got mine on Amazon xx
thank you Emily. I think I have sent you a request on Facebook I hope that's ok
love this vlog 😍😍🤗💕💕
Thanks Seema xx
I've always been taught that babies should sleep on their backs but it's the second video I see where you show your baby sleeping and he's on this side or tummy down. Any particular reason for that? I'm curious :)
And just a tip I would just file the nails instead of clipping them. xx
when you wet the window just with a little bit of water, the tinfoil sticks just on! no meed to take cello tape ^^
I got the mesh bags, 3 pack, at the dollartree
For the tinfoil hack, you can use a damp cloth to wipe the window and use exact sizes of foil to cover the window. It will cling like window tinting and reduces the likelyhood of tearing. Then you also do not have tinfoil hanging out of your house windows. 😉
I'm not sure about the makeup brush hack. That seems yucky and messy. I do, however, have one of the actual applicators for diaper cream and it's amazing! I just wipe it off after each use and wash it with hot water and soap at night. It's bendy and soft and saves your fingers from getting cream all over :)
cousin it was the long haired dude. the hands name was thing
