Many senior rosarians have suggested that misting is very important thing to do in summer because of too much heat and it also helps to prevent thrips attack mam!

You are right bro,👍👍 Misting or overhead watering canbe done for roses in summer, but only in mornings, it can avoid spider mites and thrip, but doing in late afternoon or evening will surely encourage fungal infection and other dieseases bro. A soft spray canbe done in morning in summer, which should get dried in few minutes. Letting water to stay longer time will surely encourage fungal dieseases.
