President Ram Nath Kovind gave away the Nari Shakti Puraskar 2019 awards at an event at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here in New Delhi on Sunday.
A 93-year old athlete from Chandigarh was among 15 women awarded Nari Shakti Puraskar 2019 at an event held on International Women’s Day on Sunday.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
