Bros, No building below 15-storeys should be permitted in the New Enugu City. This is the opportunity to change the skyline of this great city and bring it in line with leading modern cities like Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur etc. Even South Sudan Republic which became independent in 2005 is transforming its capital Juba with skyscrapers. Without skyscrapers Enugu will remain relegated and underrated. Anyone who tells you that skyscrapers are not necessary or required is a big liar. No more sprawling bungalows.
I hope so too. Gov Mbah and his team should also set an example by building one to the chagrin of naysayers who seek to dwarf Enugu city by claiming that everything is impossible. All those UN agencies, federal government, Ibo firms can have office spaces there to start with. Those naysayers said the same thing during the campaign to upgrade Enugu airport to international airport. Remember the line: Enugu is just a "civil service" town, too quiet etc. But as it turned out Enugu International Airport has become a success story with positive spill over to other sectors e.g. real estate.
I have been wondering how burrow pits are managed now. Burrow pits are responsible for some of the errosions we're dealing with today eg, Owerri - Onitsha
@@africanunite6312You don't have gutter, you don't have electricity, you don't have water, you can't check erosion, yet you are talking about skyscrapers? 😭!
@@africanunite6312You are wrong, Egypt has tall buildings and it makes the city fine. South eass should embark on high raise building to have land management. South east does not have land so is very important to ambark on high raise buildings
Imo State rise up and chase away Hopeless Uzodinjo b4 he destroys the livelihood of the Imo People. Who could have believed Abia State could rise again after years of looting by past governors
Nigeria government should stop constructing major roads with asphalt. The life span is very short besides the abuse and heavy traffic usage. Major roads should be constructed with concrete while inner streets can settle with asphalt.
Why the people of IMO STATE are watching all these infrastructure developments in Abia and Enugu states and they are not protesting against Bad Governance in IMO STATE?
People are happy but will they be able to afford to live there. Mba shd better make it affordable and build up the area so it won’t be like AMC in Awka
See how they are praising Peter Mba, "how he is trying," and how he is going to build electricity power plant this, internet that, and drainage blah blah blah? Only in Nigeria do the promises of providing the basest of basic amenities to its citizens constantly occupy the news year in year out. Nā wāā ö!!
