Nice man. Thanks. I just received my new cordless battery powered high pressure water /foam sprayer. Game changer bc there’s no cords and I sleep in my 18 wheeler 🚛. I’m able to keep my truck rims and tires clean 🧼 with ease. Will definitely be using it on my motorcycle.
I always use a foam cannon it makes cleaning faster and adds lubrication to help prevent scratches , You should still use a bucket with a grit guard with just clean water , rinse off your mitt after going over each panel rub the mitt against the grit guard so it removes debris from your mitt so you don’t scratch your paint , great video
I discovered the foam cannon long ago, like back in 2019, for motorcycles. I'm glad you figured it out, though. It really makes a difference combined with the mits.👍

@@Charlies_Riding_Adventures the jack makes life so much easier. If you get a good quality jack, it won’t make you nervous! Appreciate you watching and being a channel member!
I came up with a cheepo version years ago. I bought a small size pressurized weed control sprayer from Ace Hardware. I put in a mix like you and then pump it up and spray the bike with it the same as you. It's not as nice as your setup but it works. Now I know there is a kit for it. I use Turtle Wax wash and wax. It also softens the water and makes my mitt glide on the paintwork and windshield to limit scratching. On the wheels I use a diluted spray of water and Simple Green. I do the wheels first. So they get washed twice. I've got spun aluminum wheels not chrome so they water spot really easily. When you get older you look for ways to make things easier. That blower is awesome and I didn't know about those either. I wouldn't point it at the wheel bearings though, it might be strong enough to push water into them. Going to get one! One thing is to fight being lazy, difficult for me, and wash the bike often and that makes it come clean with less work. Awesome video, thanks and subbed!
Thank you for subscribing! Also appreciate sharing your tips. I will make sure to be careful around the bearings, never thought about that. That’s what’s great about this community! Everyone helps everyone out.
Can't argue with being thorough. What I do is jack bike like you. Remove leather seat accessories etc. Cover stereo and speakers.Wet bike down and rinse well top to bottem. Foam Master 50/50 auto wash and water. Let sit a while. Rinse whole bike thoroughly. Dry with small Meteo heated blower. Spray entire bike with Blue Aviation wadh and wax. Then dry and buff with drying towels. Top to bottem. I only foam once.
Yeah, that's a good way to do it, for sure. The foam is really key on grimy stuff, and letting it do its thing. This is way faster, too. When you run out of that detail spray, take a look at Turtle Wax ICE Seal N Shine. It's cheap, goes on really fast, and seems to last a long time. Shiny side up!
Very nice video Joe. I wash my bike in a very similar manner but I have not used that heated blower heard about them but never thought of getting one I will look into it now. I have a couple additional things to add. Make sure you wash your microfibre towels before you use them. Also a tip on bug removal - Bug Remover by Gtechniq. Works very well. And it’s safe for your coatings and part but not least use gloves when handling soaps for washing your bike or vehicle. And I’m not a detailer just a biker that likes clean bikes. Thanks for the video
Foaming is meant to be pre-treatment to a standard 2 bucket wash. Also, using the same mit to do all parts is risky to your painted parts. Air dry followed by a detail spray is a best practice. Alternating, just riding it is fine too ;-)

It was easy 🤷♂️
Looks like it becomes very expensive for all the gizmos, soap, dryer, wash mitt, wheel brushes, etc! Not to mention the bike jack! Jesus! You must have more money than Carter has liver pills! I'll stick with my garden hose and wash clothes. Thanks anyway.
It’s all stuff I’ve bought over time. You can find some of the items used to save some money. If I could only get one item, it would definitely be the soap. It’s affordable and works amazing! Appreciate you watching!
Wash it once when you purchase it then wax it. Bike shop gives it a looking at every 6 months and let Mother Nature look after it. Sell when it’s 2 years old rinse and repeat
I will be keeping my motorcycles longer than 2yrs. I just like to keep them clean! Appreciate you watching!
How to make a bike wash longer and more expensive 101. 😂
Save me time compared to the old way I’d do it!
S100.
I have a can of that. Great stuff!
Take off your seat, windshield and side panels when you wash.
I do that in the winter. I do a nice detail and also take the tank off. I don’t want to take the extra time during the riding season!
That’s an orifice nozzle tip. Just felt unclean saying that. 😂
@@joelhardin4093 😂😂😂 sounds like a dirty word!
baby wipes... too easy.
@@essequamvideri never heard that one before!
Thats like to much work just to wash your bike
It’s really not that much!
So I'll give you another tip. Decontaminate the paint and your windshield and paint. Then hit it with a good sealant. It will make washing your bike way faster.
What do you mean by decontaminate the paint?
Looks like youre still waiting on someone to send you some free weed-b-gone for you to try out on your driveway....
Thanks for noticing! 😂 Unfortunately I have a motorcycle channel and not a lawn and garden one! Appreciate you watching
Good grief!
😂
🙄😂😆
😎🤙
those jacks suck and you know it. Get two proper screw jacks. The screw jacks that a motorcycle mechanic uses.
@@flathead1930 not sure what a screw jack is, but I use this jack every time I wash my motorcycles. I love it 🤷♂️ I just roll it under the bike and jack it up. Thanks for watching!
@@JoeGoeMotorcycleAdventures Looked up “screw jacks”, and don’t see how they would improve this. Motorcycle mechanics use pneumatic lifts.
@ericmarshall6602 yeah me too. Those seem to be used best while on a lift so you can stabilize the bike. That’s what I use mine for. They also won’t get the bike very high at all.
Get a J&S Jack. It beats those cheap ones...
@freddie_ray1498 I heard J&S went out of business!
