She is a fkn superstar! I’ve listened to the original countless times and it’s so great - but this went to a whole other place! She is 100% convincing, that was eerie and I had chills, THAT WAS EPIC!!
This was her first release after leaving her management and becoming completely independent. It is aimed at someone from the label or management. Some people have said that Fingers is aimed at the same person but I’m not sure about that one. I didn’t realize she was dropping this today 😊 thank you for reacting to more Chinchilla 😊❤
The original is amazing too. But I love the more sinister tone that she takes on this version. I agree this is definitely a fight back song. I feel it’s likely a direct shot at her previous record label for how she was treated, and her now choice to do this independently, even though that can be the harder path to success. A “middle finger” so to speak.
It would be worth hearing the original its very high energy and the film clip is an artwork in revenge and quite funny.in an interview she said much of the anger was aimed at recording executives who kept trying to make her little girlish . Whoever she is mad at they better stay out of her way . Elements is a different side of her and worth a listen .
I love Chinchilla, she has an amazing voice and she's super talented but for a change I prefer the studio version. I don't like the arrangement as much on this version. unfortunately.
